SDN focus entirely on the upper-level network management and IoT enables monitoring the physical activity of the real-time environment via internet network connectivity. The IoT clusters with SDN often undergoes challenges like network security concerns like getting attacked by a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS). The mitigation of network management issues is carried out by the frequent software update of SDN. On other hand, the security enhancement is needed to all alleviate the mitigation of security attacks in the network. With such motivation, the research uses machine learning based intrusion detection system to mitigate the DDoS attack in SDN-IoT network. The control layer in the SDN is responsible for the prevention of attacks in IoT network using a strong Intrusion Detection System (IDS) framework. The IDS enables a higher-level attack resistance to the DDoS attack as the framework involves feature selection-based classification model. The simulation is conducted to test the efficacy of the model against various levels of DDoS attacks. The results of simulation show that the proposed method achieves better classification of attacks in the network than other methods.

The cloud-based learning management systems bring vast benefits at all educational levels. These systems provide a powerful teaching tool. More educators are adopting them as their main learning management system, and students find them very intuitive to use. An online learning system based on cloud computing infrastructure is possible and it can significantly progress the effectiveness of investment that can make this system into a righteous path and accomplish a win-win situation for students and teachers. This online study comprises of several segments, namely, demographic details of the students, their usage of smart devices, device ownership, device connectivity and number of hours the device is connected in online. It consists of approximately 360 respondents. The statistical analysis was performed using R programming. The results indicated that most of the respondents utilize smartphones to access online classes through cloud platform. During pandemic circumstances the smart devices facilitated faculties and students of higher education sectors to teach and learn their subjects.

The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and critically. Education policies are entering into a new pathway. Due to climatic and geographical conditions in many areas of the world, it is challenging to establish classes. Many students feel difficulties in leaving their motherland for further education due to the limited economy. Learning using technological components like smart devices is continually growing. Several education institutions provide services through the web using cloud-based technology to ease the students and cultivate their education. The employment of smart devices has a great perspective on teaching and learning. During COVID-19, the cloud platform helps students and faculties learn and even stay in their residential areas. This paper aims to outline: attitude and opinion of smart devices used by higher education students and their self-efficacy in participating in online classes. This te...

The WHO’s Global TB Program states that in India, the number of people newly diagnosed with TB increased by 74% when compared to other countries from 1.2 million to 2.2 million between 2013 and 2019. Tuberculosis was and still remains a disease that causes high death rates in the country. Many of these deaths can be easily prevented if diagnosed at an early stage. The easiest, cost-effective and non-invasive method of detecting tuberculosis is through a frontal chest x-ray (CXR). But this requires a radiologist to manually examine and analyse each of the X-ray, considering the heavy patient count this puts a great burden on the resources available. A computer aided diagnosis system can easily mitigate this problem and can greatly help in reducing the cost. In recent times deep learning has made great progress in the field of image classification and has produced remarkable outputs in terms of image classification in variou...

Different types of noises in the fingerprint images cause greater difficulty for recognizers. As a solution to this problem we employ proven methods for image enhancement. To achieve this first we applied the histogram on 256 grey scale finger print images. Then the histogram-equalized image is obtained. CLAHE with Clip Limit is applied in order to enhance the contrast of small tiles,

The important factors that make education a distant dream are unavailability of educational resources and the high cost that comes with it. Cloud computing can solve both the issues. Cloud computing in education is a rapidly emerging technology. The individuals and the educational organizations are ready to adapt to new technologies. The usage of cloud computing technologies has modified the work flow of teachers, educators in higher education sectors. The adoption rate is gradually increasing due to its cost efficiency and collaborative nature of the educational cloud. The foremost objective of this paper is to determine the impact of graduate student's perceptions towards cloud technologies usage in higher education sectors and to examine its benefits to students and teachers. Powerful solutions provided by cloud applications have been proposed which will be beneficial to the higher education institutions. This empirical study analyzed and discussed the student's learning experience by using the cloud applications and services. The outcome of this study implies that the intention of respondents has endurance in using cloud computing services.
