Este modelo de segurança está principalmente relacionado com o gerenciamento de contabilidade em tempo real para múltiplos usuários e múltiplos provedores, onde os aspectos de segurança estão relacionados às políticas e mecanismos propostos pelos modelos de Segurança Multilateral e RBAC (Role-Based Access Control). O modelo foi validado através do uso da técnica de descrição formal LOTOS e também pela implementação de um protótipo.

The patient presented with a palpable mass and symptoms of intestinal obstruction, constipation and rectal discomfort. Rectal examination revealed a clearly visible mass. The treatment consisted of a surgical resection with wide margins. Pathology reported a leiomyoma. The patient was submitted to a careful clinical evaluation and a continuous follow up.

Concepts and principles of TINA (Telecommunications Information Networking Architecture) are intr... more Concepts and principles of TINA (Telecommunications Information Networking Architecture) are introduced with the objective of correcting problems of centralized service control and service data model existent in IN (Intelligent Network). Now, it is becoming clear that future sophisticated services breaking away from the simple telephony call model, e.g., multimedia, multiparty conferencing, etc., will need to be rapidly and efficiently introduced, deployed, shared, operated and managed. In this context, TINA developed a comprehensive architecture for multi-service networks that will support multimedia services. On the other hand, the provisioning of all the service management functionality for TINA services (i.e. FCAPS) is still an open research question. In this paper, we discuss accounting features and requirements, security of accounting management, and issues for their integration in a TINA-based service environment. A prototype has been implemented to validate the concepts and results are also presented.

A new monoclonal antibody (mAb) that recognizes a-tropomyosin in cardiac muscle cells was used in... more A new monoclonal antibody (mAb) that recognizes a-tropomyosin in cardiac muscle cells was used in a qualitative (polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and indirect immunofluorescence) and quantitative (fluorescence-activated cell sorting) study of the expression of this protein during heart development. a-Tropomyosin expression was weak in early stages of chick embryo development (Hamburger and Hamilton stage 181, and increased steadily until Hamburger Hamilton stage 40. In early stages, the protein was found mainly in cytoplasm, whereas by the final stages, it was more abundant in the cytoskeletal compartment.
