Organizational climate is the name given to all the characteristics that distinguish an organizat... more Organizational climate is the name given to all the characteristics that distinguish an organization from other organizations, affect the behavior of employees positively and negatively, and dominate the organization, resistant to the perceived psychological environment and time. Creativity is; It is the presentation of ideas in a way that will turn into innovations for the solution of some problems. The individual, which is expressed with the term of individual creativity, which constitutes the second leg of the study; They can be expressed as individuals who have creative ideas, can make efforts to reach the same goal in different and different ways, are motivated to examine unusual situations and tasks, have high, innovative and curious personalities. In this context, the main theme of the study is organizational climate and individual creativity. In the study, it was aimed to reveal whether there is a significant relationship between the 11 dimensions of the organizational climate and the 3 dimensions of individual creativity, and for this purpose, a survey was conducted on 354 public employees. In the results obtained, it was found that organizational climate has a significant relationship on individual creativity.

The heart of the Islamic law’s financial instructions is the prohibition of interest and the sharing of profit and losses between the capital provider and the borrower. However, such a concept imposes many implications on the risk management of the financial institute adopting the Islamic banking concept. Poor performance of online educational tools, risk of transmission and staying at home cause stress and anxiety in students. This research examines the effects of usability and accessibility of the online learning system on students’ anxiety in presence of students’ perceived social support as well as students’ perceived optimistic/pessimistic life orientation. The survey instrument prepared for this purpose includes questions about the online learning system used, Covid-19 anxiety, life orientation and perceived social support. Web-based questionnaires were collected from 5,682 students from different universities and the data was analyzed for the role of social support and life orientation on anxiety caused by stress born of distance learning. Energy consumption efficiency is gaining momentum due to climate change, increased carbon emissio... more Energy consumption efficiency is gaining momentum due to climate change, increased carbon emissions by firms, and paucity of fossil fuels. Energy management systems (EMS) and environmental awareness came into the spotlight few decades ago and are said to improve energy efficiency of firms. The purpose of this paper is to unveil the association and serial mediation between EMS and firm performance through pro-environmental energy consumption (PEC) and pro-environmental energy consumption performance (PECP), and the moderating role of environmental awareness (EA). The obtained data from industrial Turkish firms (n = 189) were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. Results revealed that (1) EMS exerts a significant impact on PEC, (2) EMS impact on PECP is not significant, (3) PEC exerts a significant impact on PECP, (4) PECP exerts a significant impact on firm performance, (5) PEC and PECP serially mediated the association between EMS and firm performance, and (6) EA moderated the association between EMS and PECP, such that the association became stronger when EA is high compare to when it is low. Implications for theory and practice are discussed alongside future research directions.

Voluntary work can be done for different reasons depending on the personality characteristics and expectations of the volunteers. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of personality traits on volunteering motivations of employees. Volunteer health workers in various NGO in Kocaeli (Turkey), where pandemic findings are widely seen, constitute the basis of the research. Relational screening technique was used in the research. A questionnaire including closed-ended questions was used as the data collection method. Questionnaire consists of three parts. To collect data a questionnaire was used. The scale is composed of three parts. In the first part, there are items to elicit answers about job difficulty characteristics of the teachers in the Primary Schools; the second part includes the Organizational Commitment Scale developed by P.J. Meyer, & J.N. Allen the third part is composed of the Demographics Factors Scale developed by the researcher himself. The validity of the scales was tested by reliability analysis and the experts. The aim of this study is to evaluate the medical tourism potential for Kocaeli. For the research, 15 health facilities, including one public university, two public health facilities, and 12 private health facilities which have deserved Health Tourism Certificate, have been determined in Kocaeli. In addition, officials from the accommodation sector and public bureaucracy who are competent, and decision-makers on medical tourism were interviewed. This research examines the effects of usability and accessibility of the online learning system on students’ anxiety in presence of students’ perceived social support as well as students’ perceived optimistic/pessimistic life orientation. The survey instrument prepared for this purpose includes questions about the online learning system used, Covid-19 anxiety, life orientation and perceived social support. Energy consumption efficiency is gaining momentum due to climate change, increased carbon emissio... more Energy consumption efficiency is gaining momentum due to climate change, increased carbon emissions by firms, and paucity of fossil fuels. Energy management systems (EMS) and environmental awareness came into the spotlight few decades ago and are said to improve energy efficiency of firms. The purpose of this paper is to unveil the association and serial mediation between EMS and firm performance through pro-environmental energy consumption (PEC) and pro-environmental energy consumption performance (PECP), and the moderating role of environmental awareness (EA). The obtained data from industrial Turkish firms (n = 189) were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. Results revealed that (1) EMS exerts a significant impact on PEC, (2) EMS impact on PECP is not significant, (3) PEC exerts a significant impact on PECP, (4) PECP exerts a significant impact on firm performance, (5) PEC and PECP serially mediated the association between EMS and firm performance, and (6) EA moderated the association between EMS and PECP, such that the association became stronger when EA is high compare to when it is low. Implications for theory and practice are discussed alongside future research directions.

Volunteer health workers in various NGO in Kocaeli (Turkey), where pandemic findings are widely seen, constitute the basis of the research. Relational screening technique was used in the research. For the research, 15 health facilities, including one public university, two public health facilities, and 12 private health facilities which have deserved Health Tourism Certificate, have been determined in Kocaeli.
