Serious problems occur in social life. In several cases in Indonesia, students often abuse their ... more Serious problems occur in social life. In several cases in Indonesia, students often abuse their group collectivity and social relations with disciplinary behaviour such as following peer persuasion to spend much time hangout so that students neglect to manage study time, complete study assignments, and even be absent from lectures.. However, other students have managed to control unproductive social relations (persuasion to hang out during class hours, inducement not to do coursework, and others) to stabilize their academic performance with assertiveness. This explore student assertiveness strategies. At the same time, they were projecting strategic assertiveness protocols to maintain their academic performance. Everyone has their own standard of physical form. But in reality, not everyone has a physique tha... more Everyone has their own standard of physical form. But in reality, not everyone has a physique that matches the standards he has made. This triggers many people who are less confident with their physical form. This condition makes researchers carry out research that intends to see the effect of body image on self-confidence. This research uses correlational quantitative research with student subjects. This research instrument uses a body image scale and a self-confidence scale. Validity testing uses expert tests and trials, while reliability uses Cronbach's Alpha. This research data analysis technique uses the Linear Regression formula. The results of the research show that there is an effect of body image on students' self-confidence. The magnitude of the influence of Body Image on self-confidence is 35.8%.

Perilaku siswa yang takut mengecewakan orang lain, takut jika akhirnya dirinya tidak lagi disukai ataupun diterima, dan tidak ingin membuat orang lain sakit hati membuat siswa merasa sulit untuk mengkomunikasikan pikiran dan perasaan secara asertif. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, peneliti melakukan Assertiveness Training untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam berkomunikasi secara asertif. School Counselor or Counselor have to perform professional guidance and counseling services, such... more School Counselor or Counselor have to perform professional guidance and counseling services, such as developing guidance and counseling materials from various sources including international, national, and local sources. The purpose of this study is to obtain the guidance and counseling materials contained in the Serat Wedhatama which contains the teachings about morals and virtuous as a source of local teaching. This qualitative research using ethnographic model and explorative content analysis procedures, with a content analysis procedure. Results show that the teachings contained inside Serat Wedhatama are the values and teachings of virtuous morals that can be used as guidance and counseling materials, and can be packaged in the composition of information services and library display.

The problem of violence committed by adolescents is increasingly complex, one of which is the agg... more The problem of violence committed by adolescents is increasingly complex, one of which is the aggressive behavior of students. In fact, as the 4.0 industrial revolution emerged, the aggressive behavior of students grew, one of which was online aggression. One way counselors can do is to apply solution-focused brief counseling (SFBC) to reduce student online aggression behavior. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of SFBC to reduce student online aggression behavior. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of SFBC to reduce student aggression online behavior. The study design uses quasi-experimental with type nonequivalent control group design. The subjects of this study were students of vocational high school Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta, which had very high online aggression behavior. The data collection tool used to measure online aggression behavior is the scale of online aggression behavior. The data analysis technique used in this study was the independent t-test. The results of this study indicate that online aggression behavior can decrease significantly after being given an SFBC intervention. Students are able to develop a solution that can minimize the desire of students to behave in online aggression.

The study was conducted using a qualitative approach through the case study method of three students at Griya Baca Pelangi who had been diagnosed with dyslexia. Data was collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Next, the data were analyzed with the concept of Miles and Huberman. The results were obtained that the dyspersic communication skills of dyslexic children differ. Kondisi demikian seringkali mendorong pendidik membandingkan dan memaksakan kemampuan Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus sesuai dengan tuntutan yang diberlakukan di sekolah. Self acceptance management merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang dipandang penting dimiliki pendidik Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus agar pendidik dapat menerima keberadaan Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus sebagai sosok yang perlu mendapatkan bimbingan dan pendidikan seperti halnya anak normal dengan berbagai kelebihan dan keterbatasan yang dimiliki. Penerimaan pendidik terhadap Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus dapat menjadi faktor penting bagi tercapainya perkembangan Anak Kebutuhan Khusus sesuai dengan kelebihan yang dimilikinya masing-masing.

This is important for teachers to provide the right services and learning. This study aims to determine the implementation of assessment in inclusive schools. This research uses quantitative research approach with survey research method. The subject of this research is inclusive school teachers at an inclusive school. The subjects of this study were selected by simple random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study is an interview guideline. Based on the results of the interview, the data were analyzed through statistical analysis techniques. The result of the analysis shows that there is no significant difference in the assessment of inclusion schools in kindergarten, elementary, junior high, and high school.

Employing 30 students as the subject of the study, this study utilized two scales namely teachers’ communication skill perception scale and psychological well-being scale. The level of the validity and the reliability of these scale had been tested. The obtained data were analyzed by using linear regression to find out the strengths of the role of teachers’ communication skill towards the students’ well-being. The result showed that significance level (sig.2 tailed) was 0.00 or less than 0.05, it means that the role of teachers’ communication skill affected significantly towards the children’ well-being. Active learning training based on experiential learning models really needs to be pursued to real... more Active learning training based on experiential learning models really needs to be pursued to realize active learning in elementary schools. The aim of this activity was the participant able to implement active learning in the classroom based on the key meaning found in accordance with self-creativity (active experimentation). This activity was started by training and then was continued with assistence. Based on the analysis of the results of the training effectiveness test by calculating the pre-test and post-test scores, it can be concluded that the active learning training based on experiential learning models is effective to improve active learning in elementary schools. In the evaluation and follow-up stages, the facilitator provides assistance for educators to implement active learning in the classroom. The effect of the mentoring are known that the teacher is able to implement a fun active leraning model and trigger active participation of students.

This research aims to enhance students' skills in assertive communication. Method-This research applied Research and Development approach.The sample of this study were of20 students of grade XI IPA 3 SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta. The subjects wereselected purposively from 40 students with low average scores of assertive communication skills. Findings-From the results of pretest-posttest, the students' assertive communication skills improved. Remaja dianggap sebagai individu yang dapat belajar untuk mengatur diri sendiri pada arah yang telah ditentukan oleh lingkungan tanpa harus mengorbankan inisiasi diri yang positif. Teknik self management memandang bahwa individu juga bertanggung jawab terhadap proses perubahan pikiran dan perilaku. Remaja terlibat secara penuh dalam merencanakan dan melaksanaan proses perbaikan pikiran dan perilaku sehingga tercapailah peningkatan kecerdasan moral. In fact, the teacher's ability to identify SNC is still minimal. Therefore, planned training was carried out regarding the identification of SNC . The implementation of this training can improve the ability of teachers to identify special need children. This can be known based on the values of the pretest and posttest. At the pretest the average value was 62, while at the posttest the average score was 79, it can be concluded that the training for identifying children with special needs is still very necessary for all teachers in Indonesia.

Self acceptance management merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang dipandang penting dimiliki pendidik Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus agar pendidik dapat menerima keberadaan Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus sebagai sosok yang perlu mendapatkan bimbingan dan pendidikan seperti halnya anak normal dengan berbagai kelebihan dan keterbatasan yang dimiliki. Penerimaan pendidik terhadap Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus dapat menjadi faktor penting bagi tercapainya perkembangan Anak Kebutuhan Khusus sesuai dengan kelebihan yang dimilikinya masing-masing.

This is important for teachers to provide the right services and learning. This study aims to determine the implementation of assessment in inclusive schools. This research uses quantitative research approach with survey research method. The subject of this research is inclusive school teachers at an inclusive school. The subjects of this study were selected by simple random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study is an interview guideline. Based on the results of the interview, the data were analyzed through statistical analysis techniques. The result of the analysis shows that there is no significant difference in the assessment of inclusion schools in kindergarten, elementary, junior high, and high school.

Employing 30 students as the subject of the study, this study utilized two scales namely teachers’ communication skill perception scale and psychological well-being scale. The level of the validity and the reliability of these scale had been tested. The obtained data were analyzed by using linear regression to find out the strengths of the role of teachers’ communication skill towards the students’ well-being. The result showed that significance level (sig.2 tailed) was 0.00 or less than 0.05, it means that the role of teachers’ communication skill affected significantly towards the children’ well-being. The aim of this activity was the participant able to implement active learning in the classroom based on the key meaning found in accordance with self-creativity (active experimentation). This activity was started by training and then was continued with assistence. Based on the analysis of the results of the training effectiveness test by calculating the pre-test and post-test scores, it can be concluded that the active learning training based on experiential learning models is effective to improve active learning in elementary schools. In the evaluation and follow-up stages, the facilitator provides assistance for educators to implement active learning in the classroom. The effect of the mentoring are known that the teacher is able to implement a fun active leraning model and trigger active participation of students.

In fact, the teacher's ability to identify SNC is still minimal. Therefore, planned training was carried out regarding the identification of SNC . The implementation of this training can improve the ability of teachers to identify special need children. This can be known based on the values of the pretest and posttest. At the pretest the average value was 62, while at the posttest the average score was 79, it can be concluded that the training for identifying children with special needs is still very necessary for all teachers in Indonesia.

The increasingly open social interactions make students easily trapped in various destructive pra... more The increasingly open social interactions make students easily trapped in various destructive practices that impact their academic performance. On the other hand, there are self-control strategies that students have succeeded in doing so that they still have stable academic performance. This study aims to investigate student self-control strategies in maintaining academic performance by using a qualitative-exploratory approach so that students are more free and expressive when conveying self-control strategies through subjective experiences. Data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. There were 11 students involved, both those with a good reputation and vice versa. The taxonomic analysis found that students used behavioral control strategies to complete tasks on time and free time and used cognitive control to prioritize learning experiences, prioritizing academic priorities, and maximize decisional control to be critical before making decisions and assertive destructive behavior.
