A cross sectional study was conducted in the middle of the academic semester of a university from 25th September 2011 to 10th November 2011 to investigate factors that affect job related stress and to find out if job related stress in turn influence the health related quality of life (HRQoL) of lecturers. It was also conducted to find out if HRQoL of lecturers differ between gender and age group. Comparison of HRQoL was also made between the lecturers and the general Malaysian population norm. The target population for this study was lecturers at one of the public universities in Malaysia with a size of 4500 lecturers. Data was obtained via survey using SF36v2 (questions on HRQoL) and the Occupation Stress Indicator (OSI) to measure job related stress and was analyzed using SPSS16 and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Sample size calculated was 393 using IBM Complex sampling for cluster, stratified and simple random techniques. However, only 277 lecturers responded with a response rate of 57.7%. Nevertheless, analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) could still be conducted since a minimum of 200 respondents is suggested. The results showed that all the mean scores for the eight domains of SF36v2 are lower than that of the general Malaysian population norm. There are also significant differences in the mean scores for HRQoL domains between gender and age group. It is also discovered that there is significant and direct impact of conflict, work burden and time pressure on job stress which in turn influence health related quality of life. In conclusion, the management of this public university should pay attention to the results of this study by looking into ways of reducing job stress to enhance the HRQoL of lecturers. With better quality of life, it is hoped that this will improve their job performance and productivity.

Nowadays, there are also many people who cannot master the recitation of the Al-Quran well. Therefore, this study was conducted in order to see the factors that cause this to happen. This study has two objectives which are to determine the correlation between knowledge, skills, motivation, and attitude of reciting the Quran and identifying factors (knowledge, skills, motivation) that influence the attitude of reciting the Quran. The study methodology is a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods by which questionnaires are used as well as interviews. The sample for quantitative study comprises of 59 staffs in UiTM Kelantan Branch and was selected at random by using simple random sampling. The findings showed that there is a positive correlation between knowledge, skills, and motivation and the habit of reciting the Quran. However, the findings from the Multiple Regression Analysis show that only the Quran recitation skills are significant in the attitude of reciting the Quran. Therefore, more classes or programmes should be organized to improve Quran recitation skills.

The importance of educating the young generation to be more sensitive and preserve the natural environment is critical to ensure environment sustainability. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the independent variables (knowledge, skill, crop management, motivation on environmental sustainability) and dependent variable (attitude on environmental sustainability) and to identify the significant factors (knowledge, skill, crop management, and motivation on environmental sustainability) effecting attitude on environmental sustainability. This study applied a cross sectional study on 29 students in one public university in Kelantan and the data was gathered by using self-administered questionnaire. The statistical analysis that have been applied were Pearson Correlation and Multiple Linear Regression and were analyzed by using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 21. In conclusion, only one factor which is knowledge has a significant effect on attitude toward environmental sustainability. This study suggested that conducting the study on large population and include new variables that may have effect the attitude toward environmental sustainability. Environmental sustainability is very important in the future. Therefore, the younger generation needs to be educated to love the environment and have the right attitude towards the environment.

Primary dysmenorrhea is acramp-like pain that usually felt in the lower abdomen. The study was conducted to determine ‘The Prevalence and Factors Affecting Primary Dysmenorrhea among Female University Students. A cross-sectional design was used in this study. The sample size of 268 female students from Universiti Teknologi MARA Cawangan Kelantan, Kampus Kota Bharu (UiTMKB) was obtained by using Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. A validated self-administrated structured questionnaire was used for data collection. Descriptive Statistics, Chi-square test and Binary Logistic Regression analysis was performed for this study. The prevalence of primary dysmenorrhea among UiTMKB female students was 60.4%. There was a significant association between primary dysmenorrhea status with menstrual blood loss, family history, stress level and carbonated d...

The readiness of an educator is one of the important factors affecting the success of online learning. The objective of this study is to determine factors that affect academicians in implementing online learning as their teaching style with the aim of supporting the development of content transmission in teaching and learning. The study design for this study was a cross-sectional study. An online questionnaire was distributed through the academicians' email and WhatsApp platforms. A total of 168 academicians were selected by using Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling where the population is divided into nine strata according to their faculties/academies. The variables involved were Gender, Educational Level and Working Experience, Computer Anxiety, Computer Self-Efficacy, Technological Complexity, Perceived Convenience, Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use. Pearson Correlation test and Multiple Linear Regression were used as data analyses. There is a relationship between factors (computer self-efficacy, technological complexity, perceived convenience, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use) and academicians' acceptance on E-learning. Factor such as perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness are significantly affecting the academicians' acceptance on E-learning. When the academicians perceived that online learning is ease to use and very useful, their acceptance on E-learning may increase. The further study was recommended to be done since this study found that computer self-efficacy, technological complexity and perceived convenience had relationship with academicians' acceptance on E-learning but not significantly contribute on it.
