Anti-apartheid movement (AAM) is an international movement which was formed in Britain in 1960s e... more Anti-apartheid movement (AAM) is an international movement which was formed in Britain in 1960s essentially to oppose the South African apartheid system through constant and often clandestine support of the non-white population. The paper examines Britain and the Anti-Apartheid Movement in South Africa. The study uses archival materials and other extant literature in reconstructing and exploring the role of AAM in the fight against apartheid regime. It was discovered that AAM play a critical role in dismantling most aspect of apartheid structure in checkmating and ending apartheid system in South Africa. It is recommended that the South African government need to employ some fiscal policies in order to empower the citizens of South Africa by creating job opportunities.
