Furthermore, the primary focus of this study is to evaluate its relevance through several contemporary instances. Generally, non-doctrinal research aims to collect raw data and information; however, its practice is declining rapidly. Moreover, the author seeks to emphasize the importance of non-doctrinal research in addressing various socio-legal issues prevalent in Nepal. Non-doctrinal legal research endeavors to examine, using empirical data, how law and legal institutions influence human attitudes and their societal impact. The absence of such studies leads to the non-implementation of various legislations, resulting in dissatisfaction among people with the law's outcomes, as they perceive it as merely addressing their problems and expectations. Therefore, the author endeavors to underscore the necessity of non-doctrinal research in Nepal.
