The postpartum period (puerperium) is the period after the placenta is born and ends when the ute... more The postpartum period (puerperium) is the period after the placenta is born and ends when the uterine organs return to normal as before pregnancy which occurs around six weeks. One of the problems that are often faced by postpartum mothers is their inability to adapt to new situations that make a mother experience postpartum depression. Postpartum depression is a feeling disorder experienced by a mother after giving birth where the mother feels sadness, loses energy, finds it difficult to concentrate, feels guilty about herself and is worthless. One of the causes that influence a mother to experience postpartum depression is the lack of support from her husband to postpartum mothers. This research method uses a literature review that collects and analyzes research articles regarding husband's support for the occurrence of postpartum blues. Dysmenorrhea is menstruation accompanied by pain and is often complained of 40-80% of young women... more Dysmenorrhea is menstruation accompanied by pain and is often complained of 40-80% of young women. Dysmenorrhea occurs because the endometrium in the secretion phase produces excessive prostaglandins that cause hypertonus and vasocontction of the myometrium resulting in ischemia, endometrial disintegration, bleeding, and pain. Dysmenorrhea can be treated by administering pharmacological therapy with non-steroidal and non-pharmacological anti-inflammatory drugs with acupressure techniques.Acupressure is done by massaging techniques at certain meridian points of the body to stimulate the natural ability to heal yourself by restoring a positive energy balance in the body. This community service aims to provide information about acupressure to reduce dysmenorrhea in young women online through zoom meetings with powerpoint slideshows and videos.The steps are the selection of groups of adolescents who are willing to be taught about acupressure to reduce dysmenorrhea pain, counseling and a...
