Deep soil mixing technology is under investigation. We’ve used time study method to obtain a necessary material for designing of cost. We've calculated normative values of time, workers’ labor and building materials for the manufacturing of a 1 m 3 of reinforced soil-cement pile for the first time. Presented results allow adequate calculation of an estimate and designing of a project for construction with an application of the reinforced soil-cement piles.

In this paper, using an expert method, the shortcomings of the Ukrainian methodology for assessing the reservoir properties of the reservoir were highlighted. In particular, the sources of uncertainty accumulation in determining the absolute values of the reservoir's filtration parameters have been identified. The existing problem is that the algorithms of actions, which are the basis of the Ukrainian method of assessing reservoir properties, introduce a significant degree of uncertainty into the assessment results. In order to reduce uncertainty, the introduction of the concept of a representative elemental volume is considered when conducting laboratory research and the construction of a three-dimensional digital model of this elementary volume. It is suggested to improve the Ukrainian method of assessing the collector properties of the deposit based on current We...

Due to the research with the author's specially designed laboratory equipment – an experimental installation containing a technological unit and an information-measuring system, the most favorable pressure-temperature conditions of hydrate formation in a wide range of pressure (0.1–120 MPa) and temperature (from –20 to +80 °C) were determined. The experimental results made it possible to determine the conditions required for hydrate deposits and iron (Fe) oxides in the range of temperature from –15 to +60 °C and pressure from 0 to 60 MPa. These results are confirmed by thermodynamic calculations of the oil-gas-hydrate phase equilibria in the annulus of the well. Data processing was performed using the methods of correlation, dispersion and regression analysis, which allowed comparing the processes of hydrates and iron (Fe) oxides formation in the annulus of oil wells. The results of the study ca...

Numerical modeling of the distribution of the reservoir pressure drop in the vicinity of an opera... more Numerical modeling of the distribution of the reservoir pressure drop in the vicinity of an operating well was carried out taking into account the inhomogeneous distribution of filtration characteristics (permeability and oil viscosity) in the near and distant zones of the well operation in order to study the practical aspects of filtration in heterogeneous oil-bearing formations based on a combined finite-element-difference method for non-stationary problem of piezoconductivity. The use of the combined finite-element-difference method enables to combine the advantages of the finite-element method and the finite difference method: to model geometrically complex areas, to find the value at any point of the object under study, while the implicit difference scheme. It is shown that the intensity of filtration processes in the vicinity of the operating well depends mainly on the permeability, and, to a lesser extent, on the viscosity of the oil. Moreover, the influence of the permeabili...

The RP analysis of prospective and discovered reservoir types within traps sealed by salt stocks is carried out. Potential oil and gas areas within the Sakhalin field salt stock have been identified.

The boundary between liquid and metal phases in the model was set by a sinusoidal laxly concaved profile. In this research, it’s been suggested the hypothesis that mass transfer of cathodic and anodic depolarizers on the surface of corroborated reinforcement is defined by diffusion such that current density is constant on long distance from the boundary between the phases. The Laplacian equation has been solved by perturbation method representing concentrations as mathematical row by a small parameter. It has been analyzed the possibility of occurring a liquid coating under the concrete protective layer on the reinforcement surface in the contact spots between the ribs and reinforcement body. It’s been discovered how the profile geometry impacts the distribution of corrosion current.

The investigation was carried out using the three-factor experiment with variables varied at three levels. There were received response functions, which characterize the correlation between frost resistance and variables: cement consumption, plasticizer additives and compaction time. An analysis of the surface of the response function, where the frost resistance of the concrete was accepted as a response, revealed the optimal correlation between the components of the mixture and the compaction time of the seal. By using the STATISTICA 12 software complex, the values of the factors were specified, when the optimal components ratio with GLENIUM 51 superplasticizer is achieved for the production of concrete with high frost resistance that is greater than F300. It is possible to evaluate and take into account the effect of reservoir heterogeneity on the distribution of reservoir pressure (and, consequently, on the intensity of the filtration process) using numerical modeling of filtration processes based on the piezoelectric equation. To solve the non-stationary anisotropic problem of piezoconductivity, it is proposed to apply the combined finite-element-difference method of M. Lubkov, which makes it possible to take into account the inhomogeneous distribution of permeability inside the anisotropic oil-bearing formation and at its boundaries, and to adequately calculate the distribution of reservoir pressure. The use of the combined finite-element-difference method allows to combine the advantages of the finite-element method and the finite difference method: to model geometrically c...

Deep soil mixing technology considered to be used for manufacturing soil-cement. The purpose of the research is to determine a way of increasing strength of soil-cement by addition of effective microorganisms. Strength increasing method should not compromise the mixture’s movability. Authors used an experimental approach within which there were standard techniques of determining the movability of soil-cement mixture and density and strength of a soil-cement stone in a laboratory environment. This research resulted in discovering the optimal contents of a soil-cement mixture with respect to mechanical properties required. Authors proved the effective microorganisms to be efficient mean of increasing the strength of soil-cement.
