To achieve such results, so-called product MV-algebras were introduced and, using the product, the joint probability distribution was defined. In this paper we present an approach how to define the joint distributions on MV-algebras which are not necessarily closed under product. First we construct conditional measures on a given MV-algebra. And using these conditional measures we define the joint probability distributions.

Necessary and sufficient conditions for the extension of bivariate s-maps to trivariate s-maps are given. However, it is shown that these conditions are not sufficient for extending trivariate s-maps to 4-variate s-maps.

Ptak [2] has defined a sum of a Boolean algebra and a quantum logic (i.e. an orthomodular lattice). In this paper we study a homomorphism on this structure. The main result is the relationship between homomorphism on the Ptak's sum that can be defined by finite homomorphisms on the quantum logic and the cardinality of the Boolean algebra.

Granger in 1969. The Granger's model of causality has become well-known and often used in various econometric models describing causal systems, e.g., between commodity prices and exchange rates. Our paper presents a new mathematical model of causality between two measured objects. We have slightly modified the well-known Kolmogorovian probability model. In particular, we use the horizontal sum of set σ-algebras instead of their direct product.

The main idea is that a system is in same state and from this state is can get to another state if there are fulfield some properties. In other words we have a partial binary operation ⊖ such that the operation ⊖ can be interpreted as a change of a state. If we put some logical questions about change of states on this we get the structure which is called a difference set.

Pták [Demonstr. Math. 19, 349-357 (1986; Zbl 0647.03055)]. Such a structure is now called a Pták sum. Here, some states on Pták sums are shown to be a type of a conditional probability on L. Next, an example of observables on Pták sums is presented.
