Vehicle crashes with pedestrian are almost inevitable and cause injury or death to pedestrian. In India, annually, around one-third of road accidents involve pedestrians as victims. The pedestrian accident prone urban road stretch A.B. road in Indore city was selected as the study stretch. A statistical model for predicting the number of pedestrian accidents from Vijay Nagar to Bhawarkuan (A.B. Road) was developed using simple linear regression analysis on SPSS version 26 software. Several variables such as vehicular volume, pedestrian volume, length of cross-walk, width of crosswalk, width of footpath, lane width, pedestrian signals, pedestrian crossing sign board, number of lanes were found to considerably affect the pedestrian accidents.

It is therefore important to find out what the critical success factors, or CSFs, are, that drive ERP project success. In the present article we identified 17 CSFs from the literature survey and the responses of questionnaire from various targeted respondents which include ERP Vendors, ERP Customers and ERP implementing companies. Based on the ground theory of analysis these 17 CSFs are grouped with regard to Project Management (PM) knowledge areas of time, quality, cost, scope and expectation and analyzed the questionnaire responses using Grey Relational Analysis and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) for finding the CSFs contribution to the success of ERP project management. We further analyzed the set of questionnaire responses for a group that is unable to reach a compromise to make a decision.

Hence, Social media has become more vulnerable to transmitting both the good and bad message about product or services efficiently through an online platform. Moreover, the effect of social media has broad coverage of audience and information flows from one to many, therefore tourism managers, destination marketers are required to understand the growing impact of social media, which can be leveraged as a tool, for promoting their destinations. This paper discusses the theories behind the social media which creates the conceptual foundation for developing the models of social media marketing. Revisiting the theoretical foundation can help the researchers, policymakers and destination marketers to understand the social media in a better way for formulating the required model and research framework.

The performance of this sector is lagging behind substantially when compared to other developing nations. This study aims to identify growth barriers at different supply chain (SC) stages in the IFPS. Delphi analysis is performed to find out the barriers in the IFPS. Eighteen growth barriers have been found through expert opinion and extensive literature review spanning across three supply chain tiers: farm level, distribution level, and the consumer level. Further, to prioritize and identify the relative importance of various barriers, the analytic hierarchy process is employed. The results show that the top growth barriers in IFPS are-the lack of standardization and quality in the processed food, rain-dependent farming, and the high cost of cold chain facilities. The novel contribution of this study lies in capturing the intricacies of growth barriers in IFPS in an integrated manner across different SC tiers. Interactions between the identified drivers are important to both practitioners and researchers in understanding and driving process, quality, and technology improvements. Finally, the results also throw light on prioritized areas of concern that can be a game-changer for policymakers in India and other developing nations.

The first research objective is to identify the fields under the tourism sector utilizing Kano's customer satisfaction model. The second goal is to study the application of the Kano model along with other methodologies for quality improvement in the tourism sector. 36 selected articles published in peer-reviewed journals between 2003 and 2018 were systematically reviewed. Non-linear quality constructs were identified from different tourism sectors such as accommodation, attraction, food services, outdoor recreation, transportation, and travel & trade. The empirical study was found to be the most popular approach; Taiwan published most of the research in the field, followed by the USA, UK, Saudi Arabia, and India. The study will enable managers, marketers, and policymakers to recognize customer needs, enhance service quality, and develop sustainable tourism growth strategies. The paper highlights the non-linearity of service quality attributes in the overall tourism sector-an attempt that has not been made hitherto.

An attempt has been made to provide suggestions for improving service quality at cultural and historical heritage sites in India, which would further improve the tourist satisfaction, foreign tourist inflow, foreign exchange earnings and ranking of Indian tourism worldwide. The study indicated that out of 24 service quality items classified by the Kano model, one-dimensional and indifferent quality elements were large in numbers. This study suggested that heritage sites in India need to take care of crowd management, general cleanliness, upkeep of sites and further prioritises the other service attributes for providing better tour experiences to foreign tourists.

Constant efforts are being made to develop value-added processes that deliver innovative, high-quality, low-cost products on time with greater responsiveness than ever before. Supply chain integration plays an important role to achieve the same. Unfortunately, the SCM concept has not been implemented in totality and there is a huge disconnect between supplier and customer. Many issues need to be addressed to integrate the supply chains of many industries. But the first step is the recognition of the present status of integration so that false notions are removed and fruitful work starts towards better integration and thus higher supply chain (SC) profitability. The present work tries to find out the critical parameters related to supply chain integration, which if addressed properly can provide improvements in supply chain integration effectiveness. Thereafter, the study after establishing the comprehensive list of information that flows through a generic SC and identifying their impact on the SC cost. Finally, a framework has been articulated to enable an organisation to identify its state of supply chain integration.

Analyzing this vast amount of data needs more effort due to its huge dimension. Usually, statistical methods like clustering are used to extract the common features among existing informal groups in a microarray data. But, these methods generally need dimensionality reduction and denoising the data for effective utilization and hence better exploratory techniques are required for visualization and analysis. The aim of this paper is to study the capability of transform oriented signal processing techniques especially wavelet transform and wavelet power spectrum to study characteristics of microarray data .The suitability of wavelet based technique has been demonstrated on such datasets and the behaviors of various samples as well as genes were studied. It was also found that the proposed technique is more efficient and requires no extensive preprocessing.

This paper uses 275 companies listed on NSE who had their initial public offerings (IPO) from year 2002 to 2007 as samples, and examines whether beta coefficients of sample firms vary with the length of estimated window and the timing of the window. Our empirical results suggest that moderate window should be used to evaluate the systematic risk of stocks. Meanwhile, the risk of stocks keeps on adjusting in several years after the firms' IPO, and it will probably underestimate the systematic risk of firms' stocks if beta coefficients are estimated based on the window near the IPO dates.

We use a self adoptive and nonlinear principle of extended declivity to obtain the edge points (horizontal declivities) in the images. These edge points include lots of noise
