E-learning adoption has proved able to shift educational circumstances from the traditional face-to-face teaching environment to a flexible and sharable type of education. An online survey was conducted, consisting of 30 teachers and 342 students in one of the universities in the United Arab Emirates. The results show that teachers’ and students’ perceived technology self-efficacy (TSE), ease of use (PEOU), and usefulness (PU) are the main factors directly affecting the continuous intention to use technology. Instructors’ technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) and perceived organizational support (POS) positively affect the intention to use the technology, whereas students’ controlled motivation (CTRLM) has a greater influence on their intention to use the technology, due to the type of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation tha...

Its significance lies in the fact that puns have certain sound effects and aesthetic features that should be reflected in the translation process. The failure to reflect these features may lead to a less transparent product. The main problem that a translator may face is to find the suitable vocabulary in the target language that can reflect both the intended meaning and the pun distinctive characteristics. When the translator can achieve these two goals, he can produce a product that has a high degree of transparency as it enables the original texts to shine through his translation by keeping the foreignness of the source text.

The study has made use of Google Meet© as an educational social platform in private higher education institutes. The data obtained from the study were analyzed by using the partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) and machine learning algorithms. The main hypotheses of this study are related to the effect of COVID-19 on the adoption of Google Meet as COVID-19 rise s various types of fear. During the Coronavirus pandemic, fear due to family lockdown situation, fear of education failure and fear of losing social relationships are the most common types of threat that may face students and teachers/educators. These types of fears are connected with two important factors within TAM theory, which are: perceived ease of use (PEOU) and perceived usefulness (PU), and with another external factor of TAM, which is subjective norm (SN). The results revealed that both data analysis techniques have successfully provided support to all the hypothesized relationships of the research model. More interesting, the J48 classifier has performed better than the other classifiers in predicting the dependent variable in most cases. ARTICLE HISTORY

This investigation of students’ intention is based on a conceptual model that uses newly used external factors in addition to the technology acceptance model (TAM) contrasts; hence, it takes into consideration users’ satisfaction, the external factor of information richness (IR) and the quality of the educational system and information disseminated. The participants were 768 university students who have experienced the teaching environments of both traditional face-to-face classes and online classes during the pandemic. A structural equation modelling (SEM) test was conducted to analyse the independent variables, including the users’ situation awareness (SA), perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, satisfaction, IR, education system quality...

The findings support the given hypotheses. In addition, they provide empirical evidence of a relationship between perceived organizational support and perceived pedagogical content knowledge. In fact, they are considered the key factors that support the use of technology continuously.

However, the acceptance of stickers by university students is still in short supply. Thus, this research aims to empirically examine the determinants affecting the acceptance of WhatsApp stickers through a proposed theoretical model by integrating the technology acceptance model (TAM) with the uses and gratifications theory (U&G). A questionnaire survey was circulated to collect data from 372 university students who have been engaged in a "Group Talk" in WhatsApp. A novel approach was employed to analyze the hypothesized relationships among the constructs in the research model through the use of machine learning algorithms. The results pointed out that IBk and Ran-domForest classifiers have performed better than the other classifiers in predicting the actual use of stickers with an accuracy of 78.57%. The research findings are believed to provide future directions for stickers developers to better promote stickers in educational activities.
