Across the world, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) were mandatory to transform their teaching model from face-to-face interaction to online learning. Neither the faculty nor the students were ready for this sudden transformation, most of the HEIs were practicing online learning for the sake of changing or technology adoption. COVID-19 changes the HEIs standpoint towards online delivery, as of mid of March 2020, the only online learning come to be the reasonable solution for teaching in schools and HEIs. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a research model to explore the effect of perceived enjoinment, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, social influence on the students’ intention and behavioral towards online learning during COVID-19 in Oman. The developed model was validated by employing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and the data collected via online questionnaire from 191 students whom have just completed the “Educational Technology” course on Spring 2020 at A...

This study contributes to the existing literature on online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic in higher education by investigating the relationships between the cognitive variables and students' adoption of online learning. Based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), some hypotheses were formulated to test the links between TAM constructs and online learning anxiety as an antecedent. This study adopted structural equation modelling (SEM) to scrutinize technology adoption for a sample of 569 students in Oman. The results indicated that attitude towards online learning is a strong predictor of technology adoption during the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, both perceived usefulness of online learning and perceived ease of online use yielded a significant contribution of the attitude construct. Besides, online learning anxiety affected both the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of online use negatively, in which perceived ease of use is largely predicted while perceived usefulness is moderately predicted. In the light of the previous findings, online learning anxiety should have more attention by tertiary lecturers, counsellors, academic advisors and policymakers when implementing online teaching and learning.

Five different constructs were utilized from those theories to investigate the university student's intention toward using online education platforms. The proposed model and its five hypotheses were tested by conducting a quantitative survey across social media to university students from different regions around SA. For the model validity, the measurement model was analyzed using a structural equation modeling technique applied using SmartPLS software. The survey sample consisted of 708 university students in different regions of SA. The analysis results show that Performance Expectancy (PE) and Facilitating Conditions (FC) affect students' Attitude toward Using (ATU) and that ATU positively affects Behavioral Intention (BI). Nevertheless, Effort Expectancy (EE) is not significantly related to ATU. Thus, the level of difficulty in using the online education platform is not an effective determinant factor that would change the student's attitude.

This present study aims to investigate factors that impact behavioural intention of university students on e-learning use during the COVID-19 pandemic. An online questionnaire was utilised to gather data from 109 students enrolled in one of the universities in Indonesia. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was the primary framework employed for analysis, in which system quality and e-learning experience were included as external constructs to seek out a much better model to improve the understanding of students' intention to adopt e-learning. An extended TAM model was developed and tested in this study. The model consists of six constructs: system quality, e-learning experience, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitude toward use, and behavioural intention. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) and SMART PLS 3.0 software were applied for data analysis. The findings informed that the proposed model has been succefully explained factors university students use of e-learning during the pandemic in Indonesia. It suggested that attitude toward e-learning use was the most prominent construct to predict university students' behavioural intention to use e-learning during the pandemic. Finally, this study offers recommendations for future research and practices.

In reducing the spread of the COVID-19 virus, all face-to-face learning processes are replaced with onlinebased learning. Student satisfaction is needed in an online learning. Online interaction and technology acceptance are required in online learning. Learner-content interaction, learner-instructor interaction, and learner-learner interaction are types of online interaction. Technology acceptance is described by the two factors of technology acceptance model (TAM). The two factors are perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of online interaction types and technology acceptance factors on student satisfaction with online learning. The study was conducted on 205 students at a university in Jakarta. The research method used is a quantitative method by distributing online questionnaires. Based on simple linear regression analysis, this study indicate that all three types of online interaction has a positive effect on student satisfaction with online learning. This study also shows that two factors of technology acceptance effect student satisfaction with online learning. This study found that duration of online learning gives different result in student satisfaction. Overall, the results of this study indicate that material, communication with instructor and other students in online learning effects the student satisfaction. In addition, the longer online learning takes, the students feel more satisfied in learning because more material is obtained. Furthermore, students' perceptions on one of communication platform can help and ease students in online learning so that student satisfaction increases.
Online Education: Evaluation of Students Perception During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Review of Economic and Business Studies, 2021
The pandemic of COVID-19 caused a dramatic shift in education and the educational process. This has had a significant impact on e-learning and m-learning instructional activities via digital platforms, which are now widely used by learners and instructors. The acceptance and use of these platforms is a topic of interest among researchers, and this study seeks to assess users' perceptions of online education during the COVID-19 outbreak. The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) structural model was used to capture behavioral intention and use behavior. The results obtained showed that performance expectancy has the greatest influence on behavioral intention, which has the greatest influence on use behavior. Furthermore, use behavior is largely influenced by behavioral intention, followed by the facilitating conditions, and performance expectancy. In contrast, the results showed that effort expectancy has no effect on behavioral intention. Furthermore, the clear majority of students believe that online education and the usage of e-learning/m-learning technologies are useful, simple to use, and contribute to the more efficient completion of work duties during the learning process. In addition, they aim to continue using online platforms and education in future learning activities.

The utilization of Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) has been employed for the purpose of data elaboration. The research discovered that the variable "Attitude towards Use" had a direct influence on students' Behavioural Intention towards e-learning during the COVID-19 epidemic. The variable "Perceived Usefulness" did not have a statistically significant impact ...
ANTECEDENTS OF THE PERCEIVED USEFULNESS OF AN ONLINE LEARNING PLATFORM DURING THE PANDEMIC
Problems of Education in the 21st Century, 2023
The pandemic has posed a number of challenges to university studies. The whole study process, the conditions, the context, the conditions for student mobility, the technical possibilities, and finally the quality of the studies have changed. During the pandemic period, a number of studies have been carried out on how higher education is organised in the context of a pandemic, but there is still a lack of analysis on how students perceive the usefulness of distance learning. A quantitative study was carried out with a contingent of 132 prospective preschool and primary education teachers, and students in the field of social sciences at three Lithuanian universities. The aim was to explore possible antecedents of the perceived usefulness of an online learning platform during the pandemic. The sample consisted of 24 first-year, 52 second-year, 28 third-year and 28 fourth-year students. The data obtained during the study were processed and analysed using SPSS software. In addition, structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with Lisrel 9.3 for Windows has been used to test the model. Three factors were extracted. All constructs have a very good convergent and discriminant validity. These factors are important for analyzing the effectiveness of distance learning in general. It was found that the most important contributor to the perceived usefulness is the ease of access. It was also found that content adaptation has a positive influence on the perceived usefulness.
