The trigger, of course, was the pandemic and government policies. Changes of this kind have triggered anxiety in adolescents in Indonesia, namely anxiety about the ability to adapt to the transition of learning from offline to online. This research focused on finding solutions to this anxiety through a musical approach. Data were collected through library research on COVID-19 and from school students in Indonesia for the period March 2020 to March 2021. The results showed that music therapy can help teenagers overcome anxiety. Music helps release endorphins and is useful for reducing excessive anxiety. Songwriters and presenters can be viewed as the main factors for ensuring success to lyrical song... more Songwriters and presenters can be viewed as the main factors for ensuring success to lyrical songs in the music market. However, there are not many studies available that specifically explore the strategy of composing and presenting lyrical songs in achieving market dominance in Indonesia. This study aims to reveal the strategies used by composers as well as songwriters to gain dominance in the music market in that particular country. Researchers collect music, photos and videos and gather responses from audiences. Musical works produce data on scales, lyrics, and musical accompaniment. Concert photos and videos generate information about costume styles. Concert videos and song clips generate data about audience response and stage appearances. The next stage is to interpret the data groups, followed by confirming the meanings of the concepts of capital, distinction, domination and repression in the field of psychoanalysis. Film-film laga populer saat ini mudah ditemukan karakter perempuan yang tampil sebagai seorang jagoan yang kuat dan mahir bela diri. Meskipun belum sebanyak Hollywood, film-film di Indonesia mulai memperkenalkan karakter jagoan perempuan di film-film layar lebar. Namun karakter jagoan perempuan dalam film Indonesia masih dianggap sebagai karakter minor, kemunculan mereka juga masih dianggap belum bisa menaikkan film dari segi kualitas dan perolehan penonton. The research investigates the use of the sign (code) used by Amriy Ramadhan as the director when ... more The research investigates the use of the sign (code) used by Amriy Ramadhan as the director when delivering messages through the sounds of ‘gamelan’ and ‘pesinden’ in the Sandekala film. Conflicts emerged when the signs that are used have broad interpretations for the audience. The signs are discribed and analyzed using the ten-sign classification analysis method from the Peirce semiotic trichotomy concept. This study shows the important meaning of the semiosis process of the distribution of other signs which in their presentation are interrelated to lead the audience's interpretation in the sounds of ‘gamelan’ and ‘pesinden’ presented in the Sandekala film. This article explores the creative process driven by an understanding of local values and how vil... more This article explores the creative process driven by an understanding of local values and how villagers wished to present their life, land and culture to the tourists visiting the area. The local community brought their knowledge of both the artforms and the significance they held in terms of village identity and cohesion, whilst the research team helped to integrate the chosen elements into a coherent large-scale performance. The practical steps involved the philosophical underpinnings in terms of authenticity. A typical member of the public's idea of authenticity may be of something that is traditional, that has remained unchanged for countless generations. In practice, the arts do not operate in this way, both artforms and the meanings they hold for people are in a constant state of flux, changing to meet the changing needs and aspirations of society. Therefore, in creating a performance that could present an 'authentic' view of village life for tourists, we began by understanding the values of the community, and allowed the performance to develop organically from this, based on a local legend that expressed both the history of the area and the values of the villagers.

In performing arts artist are banned to make crowd, direct contact between individuals, and to travel to other cities. This causes musicians to loose opportunity to perform on the stage. To fill the void some groups of musicians find a way to make music by using digital platforms. Some of the virtual activities are: Virtual Live Music Concert, Virtual Tapping Music Concert, Drive-in Music Concert, Virtual Online Music Class, and Podjam among musicians. These have revolved in keeping the creative process among musicians in their homeland.

The character of Wonder Woman is also the mainstream role model of sexuality ideal for female around the world because she is always displayed attractive either physically or sexually. The idea of gender of discourse representing female in the character of Wonder Woman is not just about idealized (body image) however it is also representing feminism ideology as well as identity politics. The achievement of identity exceeds physical image of women, because in Wonder Woman there are symbols of feminism. This research was done to know what feminism discourse delivered in several scenes and dialogues in the film of Wonder Woman (2017). The method used is descriptive qualitative so that it generates an interpretation which is objective when reading signs system existed in every films of Wonder Woman. The purpose of this study is to look for ideological recomendations for feminism for women as a form of patriarchal propaganda resistance.

The researcher believes that by implementing Thandeka K Chapman’s approach (2011), in which personal, community, and global levels of social interactions forge meanings, musicians and audiences emphasize the significant issues in community. Using the idea the writer intends to show that articulating appropriate themes from social contexts, musicians and singers strengthen issues in social, political and cultural domains that result in the negotiation of the concepts of: balance of status, recognition of right, refinement of social conducts, better relationship between human and natures, and the like. Through metaphors in performances they mediate the dream and the reality they want to manifest in their contexts.

Film tersebut dianggap sebagai versi yang lebih orisinil daripada film Justice League versi layar lebar yang tayang di tahun 2017, karena merupakan film yang awalnya dikembangkan untuk berkaitan langsung dengan semesta film-film di DC Extended Universe (DCEU). Visual communication design (VCD) research has so far been dominated by the study of artifacts ra... more Visual communication design (VCD) research has so far been dominated by the study of artifacts rather than the design process. The study of the VCD process from a design perspective has not been taken seriously. The stagnation of research for design is influenced by the establishment of the modern design world along with its standard methods. Meanwhile, the world has changed, supported by advances in internet technology that is forming new systems and arrangements. Crowdsourcing is a phenomenon when the internet as an information medium develops into social media and crowd-based capital. The industrial revolution 4.0 gave rise to new companies with information technology platforms. One popular area of crowdsourcing is graphic design. The graphic design crowdsourcing page brings together a community of designers and clients from all over the world. Indonesia providesone of the biggest graphic design crowdsourcing actors in the world. This research tries to go beyond standard, by preferring a study of designer community. Community members are seen as subjects who have knowledge of work experience in crowdsourcing graphic design systems. The large number of crowdsourcing designers in Indonesia who have survived in the community since 2008 certainly wasnot instantly formed. The phenomenon of crowdsourcing graphic design community in Indonesia in building theirexistence can be important knowledge when we are open-mindedly examiningthe presence of others.

Interest in the existence of this ritual is becoming unknown in society. The phenomenon that occurs in the Pethik Pari ritual is rarely done in Banyuwangi Regency. The concept of art used is a symbolic concept with an arrangement concept that emphasizes new music with Banyuwangi ethnic music media. The initial steps in the process of creating a musical work Pamethuk Pari include 1) observation to determine the possible limitations to be packaged in a musical piece.
