This thesis aims to provide clarity on which factors within an organization positively affect its... more This thesis aims to provide clarity on which factors within an organization positively affect its performance in terms of innovation. Innovation is seen as a critical component of a company’s strategy in achieving market differentiation and profitability, yet for many, it remains a frustrating pursuit. This study aims to empirically model the relationship between a firm’s investment in innovation and the effect of this investment on its performance. The method used is Structural Equation Modeling with data gathered from our online survey of 128 respondents from firms within the EU. This work addresses two research questions, the first being to confirm that a firm’s innovation performance is influenced by both a commitment to human factors focusing on softer values in combination with strong R&D and technical capability. Secondly, whether the presence of innovation inhibitors influences this relationship. The findings showed that a firm’s innovation performance is improved when it prioritizes creating an environment and culture that nurtures innovation only when activated through a strong commitment to technical and R&D excellence, but not without this technical capacity. Secondly, the introduction of innovation inhibitors reconfirmed the first finding, and the relationship between both the human factors within a company and its technical capability, as well as the relationship between this technical capability and its performance was stronger in their presence

Through recognizing the significance of a qualified workforce, skills, career, research has becom... more Through recognizing the significance of a qualified workforce, skills, career, research has become one of the focal points in education, economics, and placements. In this work we concentrate on skills needs, nature of job, enticing career are dynamic variables dependent on many aspects such as geography time, a vocation or aspiration. The purpose of this paper will identify current trends and issues in research focusing on career and technical education. The term career and technical education (CTE) was viewed from a broad perception that included workforce education, technical education, technical college and community college etc. Results should allow researchers, practitioners and policy makers to identify instant and emerging research needs in career and technical education. Queries were constructed based on 546 students' data summaries available as training data (i.e. resume). Performance was measured on a test dataset of various filled documents (questioners).

In this article, the authors present a hepta band metamaterial inspired hybrid fractal octagonal ... more In this article, the authors present a hepta band metamaterial inspired hybrid fractal octagonal shape antenna for wireless applications. Multiband characteristics in the proposed design are achieved by hybrid fractal form of Moore curve and Koch curve with metamaterial loading. A well matched impedance bandwidth (S 11 ≤ −10 dB) is accomplished at seven microwave frequency bands, Upper L band (1.93 ∼ 2.08 GHz), S band, WiMAX (3.3 ∼ 3.7 GHz), C band, WLAN (5.4 ∼ 5.9 GHz), C band, IEEE INSAT application (6.5 ∼ 7.2 GHz), X band terrestrial broadband, space communication and Radio Navigation (RN) application (8.51 ∼ 11.05 GHz), Lower Ku band direct broadcast satellite service (12.2 ∼ 12.7 GHz), and Middle Ku band satellite communication operating band (14.73 ∼ 15.84 GHz) covering various wireless applications. The antenna achieves hexa/penta band characteristics during switching ON/OFF state of PIN diode placed between the Moore curve structure (attached with centered SRR cell) and feedline. Radiation patterns are found in stable forms at all the resonant frequencies. Measured results of the proposed design are compared with simulated ones indicating good agreement between them.

Metrics and big data will boost today's marketing leaders toward success. While the notion of the metrics-driven CMO is well-understood, marketers still struggle with how to apply agile and big data to deliver big business value. To do so successfully, they must get bigger their point of view further than promotional activities and center movements around their customers and their purchasing processes. Data mining metrics like this would give us great insight into whether the change was successful; whether it led to hairline fracture how it has changed user behavior, and whether it is delivering net value to the business in terms of the A/B test. The bottom few in the list could be used to track and improve it over time, considering there is some benefit to the business in terms of capturing the new data.

It is said that employee engagement helps an organization to achieve all the desirable outcomes such as employee productivity, less employee turnover, less absenteeism and high profits (Wagner & Harter, 2006). Engaged employees tend to show enthusiasm, and high involvement at workplace. In the highly dynamic work environment, employee engagement can act as one element which can help any organization to gain competitive advantage. It has thus become important for organizations to not only identify the level of engagement of employees but also to formulate strategies which can ensure full engagement. Thus the current paper focuses on determining the level of engagement at leading Manufacturer of Industrial Explosives, Nagpur. As the company is planning to make their HR processes robust. The company is also in the process of digitalization of its HR activities. Employee engagement will play a key role in the smooth implementation of these plans. Thus the company has made an attempt to determine the level of engagement of its employees. The data for the study was collected with the help of structured questionnaire. The questionnaire was based on five parameters namely; Communication, Work Environment & Culture, Learning and Development, 360 degree feedback, Rewards, Recognition and Job Satisfaction. As the company keeps people first, the overall findings indicate that employees in the company are highly engaged.

This paper presents modeling and experimental validation of a microstrip antenna design in which multiple resonant frequencies are excited based on different negative permeability response of the rectangular split ring resonator (SRR). The antenna geometry consists of a slotted patch with split ring resonator loaded between its two arms. The patch was fabricated on FR-substrate of relative permittivity ε r = 4.4, and has a size of 30.5 mm × 34 mm. In the antenna desing, PIN diodes connect the outer ring and inner ring resonator of the SRR to the adjacent arms of the patch. Under various bias conditions, quad-band resonance was observed at 2.07 GHz, 2.11 GHz, 2.31 GHz, and 2.46 GHz. The measured S 11 results are found comparable to the simulated data, and demonstrate proper functioning of the proposed antenna with stable gain and radiation patterns.

This antenna is designed for circular radiating patch of 18.2 mm radii to achieve broadband frequency 2.285-2.45 GHz which supports IEEE 802.11 WLAN communications. The percentage bandwidth improves by using variable stub length and fixed width on circular patch antenna. Furthermore, the bandwidth enhanced by 7.2 percent at resonant frequency 2.3 GHz.
