The Covid-19 pandemic had an immediate impact on higher education. Although online technology has... more The Covid-19 pandemic had an immediate impact on higher education. Although online technology has made contributions to higher education, its adoption has had a significant impact on learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. This paper proposed a predictive model for predicting students’ academic performance in video-conference-assisted online learning (VCAOL) during Covid-19 pandemic based on machine learning approach. We investigated: Random Forest (RF), Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Gaussian Naive Bayes (GNB). There were 361 data gathered as a dataset from September 2022 to January 2023. The overall result revealed RF outperformed SVM and GNB with accuracy score of 60.27%, precision 59.46%, recall 60.27%, F1-score 59.51% and ROC AUC 87%. A The enthusiasm of various parties such as the government, practitioners, academics, business ac... more A The enthusiasm of various parties such as the government, practitioners, academics, business actors regarding the implementation of Smart Farming hopes that there will be changes in Indonesian agriculture to be more sustainable economically, socially and environmentally. The high attention and research on smart farming such as precision agricultural technology and the creation of digital marketing platforms that aim to increase production and product marketing innovation, there is an important thing that is not being paid attention to, namely the level of farmer adoption of smart farming technology. This enthusiasm is not balanced with the level of knowledge of Indonesian farmers to understand and adopt Smart Farming technology. The low knowledge of farmers is one of the biggest problems for smart farming adoption in Indonesia. Socialization is one of the knowledge transfer processes in the Knowledge management system where this process can be used to help farmers understand and adopt smart farming. The purpose of this research is to help farmers understand and adopt smart farming with a knowledge socialization process approach. The research uses qualitative methods through literature review and observation to find problems and alternative solutions. Banks, governments, distributors of agricultural products, youth organizations, and empowerment of local kiosks.

Next step, We conduct designing accounting information systems which is useful to support current business process. Analysis and design the systems that we conducted, related to the organizational structure and current business processes. Its analysis and design systems based on the theories of accounting information systems, production process and also internal control. The result achieved is an application model, which can assist production process activities, especially in documenting and storing data transaction and also generating reports in accordance with organization’s needs. The conclusion is the implementation of the accounting information systems application which can improve the XYZ’s systems performance and the current business processes. Therefore, it can obtain the required information in a timely and accurately.

In most university, management must be able to collect all hundreds of proposals and reports; not to mention they must be able to accommodate the process of reviewing every single proposal. They also need to monitor all research output in final report and make sure that all of the outputs are correctly achieved from proposed target. In addition to the problems stated, previous activities are done manually, leaving a lot of opportunity to improve and automate the process. All of the addressable opportunity for improvement are explained and explored, thus a model of the web application is created. This paper presents the design of web application used to solve persistent problem in research management, specifically in Binus University. The design methodology is divided into two phases: requirement engineering phase, and system design. Upon finishing the requirement engineering phase, system model is depicted using Unified Modeling Language, specifically: Activity Diagram, Use Case Diagram, and Conceptual Class Diagram.

In conducting its business, PT XYZ has been utilizing the information systems such as network infrastructure and applications, however, its usage has not maximized yet, therefore it requires a good information system design. This research aims to generate information system design which can optimize the strategic role of information systems, which is increase the value of information and business enterprise. Research through several stages, namely the study of literature, a common method of determining the strategic planning of information systems, collecting data through observation and interviews, then analyzing internal and external data and business / IT. The results of data analysis will become input for a SWOT analysis (Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities Threats). The strategy that has been obtained through SWOT analysis calculation, then based on such analyzes will generate information systems strategy. The outcome of this research is a recommendation of strategic planning information system applications that will come in. The conclusion from this research that is information systems strategy must be aligned with the business strategy. Therefore, to ensure alignment between information systems strategy with business strategy, we need a good strategic planning of information systems in order to achieve organization goals.

To achieve good IT governance, organization need a framework that can control the use of resources in IT, which include application, information, infrastructure and people. The framework is the Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (COBIT). UNIV IS Development Department is one of department in IT Directorate BINUS University that is responsible for the applications development in areas, which include, BINUS UNIVERSITY, BINUS BUSINESS SCHOOL and BINUS Online Learning. This master thesis aims at assessing the UNIV IS Development in IT Directorate BINUS University from an IT governance perspective. The purpose of such assessment is to identify current maturity level and suggest measures for improvement. The IT governance framework COBIT has guided the theory for IT governance throughout this study. The IT governance maturity of UNIV IS Development obtained the score 3.163 out of 5.00. The results demonstrate that the UNIV IS Development Department has many practices in place that meet maturity requirements for the IT governance

The research objective was to evaluate, learn and analyze whether the company's business processe... more The research objective was to evaluate, learn and analyze whether the company's business processes in accounting information systems of purchases and inventory of raw materials implemented in the company run as expected; to find out whether the accounting information system of purchasing and inventory of raw materials is well integrated, and to provide recommendations and suggestions to improve the weaknesses in the system for the company's assets can be well cared for. Several methodologies are implemented in this research, which are literature study, field study, such as: interviews, observation, checklists, and documentation review followed by data analysis. Audit is implemented using audit around the computer. The results obtained are in the form of data analysis presented as problem findings, the impacts and recommendations for remedial action. It can be concluded from the results of this study that PT. Sumber Bahagia Metalindo owns sufficient information system control, but still there are some weaknesses to be improved in order to improve control process to the better objective.

Membantu pihak manajemen rumah sakit dalam mendapatkan informasi yang cepat dan akurat melalui penggunaan sistem informasi yang dibangun terutama dalam registrasi pasien dan pelayanan informasi rumah sakit budi lestari. Metode proyek yang dipakai dalam penulisan skripsi ini adalah metode pengumpulan data dan metode perancangan. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan studi kepustakaan untuk memperoleh data melalui media buku dan internet, studi lapangan dengan melakukan wawancara dan penyebaran kuisioner secara langsung ke staf dan beberapa pasien rumah sakit dan studi dokumentasi dengan melakukan pengamatan terhadap dokumen yang dibutuhkan secara umum, sedangkan metode perancangan menggunakan UML diagram, VB6, SQL Server dan Crystal Report 8.5. Hasil yang dicapai ialah suatu aplikasi sistem registrasi pasien dan pelayanan informasi terkomputerisasi yang dapat digunakan oleh staf rumah sakit. Simpulan yang dapat diambil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan adalah menghasilkan suatu aplikasi sistem yang meliputi rancangan database, layar, input, dan output untuk sistem informasi rumah sakit, sub sistem: registrasi pasien dan pelayanan informasi yang diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pasien/ pengunjung dan staf rumah sakit.

It indicates the importance of support for MSMEs to maintain and double the capacity their businesses. In conducting its business, 76% of respondents already use the Internet (e-business) but still not optimally because the average does not have a website as a forum for the promotion and selling activity. Total mean score of 4.2 in adoption of innovations indicates that it has been realized, done, evaluated and adopted as a whole. Therefore, it is necessary to perform an assessment on what extent of e-business application that has been done by reviewing the readiness of MSME industries and the aspects of the utilization of information and communication technology (ICT) by MSMEs particularly of those located in Jabodetabek. The purpose of this assessment is to get an overview, status and position of the support of implementation of e-business owned and how the adoption process of e-business application can run in Jabodetabek. With the assessment of e-business technology use, we expect the planning, implementation and control of programs as well as the implementation of e-business can be conducted more directedly and controlled.

Metode proyek yang dipakai dalam penulisan skripsi ini adalah metode pengumpulan data dan metode perancangan. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan studi kepustakaan untuk memperoleh data melalui media buku dan internet, studi lapangan dengan melakukan wawancara dan penyebaran kuisioner secara langsung ke staf dan beberapa pasien rumah sakit dan studi dokumentasi dengan melakukan pengamatan terhadap dokumen yang dibutuhkan secara umum, sedangkan metode perancangan menggunakan UML diagram, VB6, SQL Server dan Crystal Report 8.5. Hasil yang dicapai ialah suatu aplikasi sistem registrasi pasien dan pelayanan informasi terkomputerisasi yang dapat digunakan oleh staf rumah sakit. Simpulan yang dapat diambil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan adalah menghasilkan suatu aplikasi sistem yang meliputi rancangan database, layar, input, dan output untuk sistem informasi rumah sakit, sub sistem: registrasi pasien dan pelayanan informasi yang diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pasien/ pengunjung dan staf rumah sakit.

In conducting its business, 76% of respondents already use the Internet (e-business) but still not optimally because the average does not have a website as a forum for the promotion and selling activity. Total mean score of 4.2 in adoption of innovations indicates that it has been realized, done, evaluated and adopted as a whole. Therefore, it is necessary to perform an assessment on what extent of e-business application that has been done by reviewing the readiness of MSME industries and the aspects of the utilization of information and communication technology (ICT) by MSMEs particularly of those located in Jabodetabek. The purpose of this assessment is to get an overview, status and position of the support of implementation of e-business owned and how the adoption process of e-business application can run in Jabodetabek. With the assessment of e-business technology use, we expect the planning, implementation and control of programs as well as the implementation of e-business can be conducted more directedly and controlled.

Analytical method that used in this study consist of two methods namely data & information collection method and analysis & design information systems method. Data & information collection method was obtained based on literature review study, while analysis & design information systems method was obtained by using object based information systems with the unified processes. The conclusion from this research is knowledge management systems provide solutions to address the problem of managing knowledge in academic and operation area in the School of Information Systems, by designing web based information systems which can make the process of production and distribution knowledge more effective and more efficient.
