Yardari dam is largest dam in Parbhani district which providing water to agriculture and drinking as well as for fish culture to know about more details about this dam and its link of food chain. In this research study phytoplankton study was carried out for one year period i.e. from 2014 to 2015. In this research study a total of 25 algal genera were recorded belonging from class Chlorophyceae, Cyanophyceae and Bacillariophyceae along with 15 families. Extensive growth of phytoplankton shows the increased amount of nutrients in water body. In this research study phytoplankton belonging to Cyanophyceae group shows domination on Chlorophyceae and Bacillariophyceae group.

In all three sites were selected for this study during 2013-2014. In the present paper total 25 taxa of class Cyanophyceae were recorded. These taxa mainly belongs to order Nostocales and Chroococcacles. Species like Microcystis,

The colonial, filamentous, non-filamentous algal genera were recorded in winter summer and rainy season. Different algal mats were analysed. In all 24 algal taxa were recorded from four sites i.e. Amberwadi, Bamni, Vazer and Kawada along with three classes with 16 genera distributed in 11 families were recorded. Important members were recorded i.e. Oscillatoria,

This study demonstrates the pure culturing of algal strains on BG-11 medium and production of algal oil from Chroococcus minimus (Keissler) Lemm and Aphanocapsa grevillei (Hass.) Rabenh. The extraction of algal oil was done by soxhlet method. GCMS analysis revealed the presence of Hexadecanoic acid, trimethylsilyl ester and 3-Naphthalen-2-yl-3-piperidin-1-ylpropan-1-ol, Dodecyl acrylate in Chroococcus minimus (Keissler) Lemmwhile1b,5,5,6aTetramethyl-octahydro-1oxacyclopropa (a) inden-6-one, 2-Propanoic acid, oxybis (methyl2,1-ethanediyl) ester, Oxirane, tetradecyl, 3,7,11,15-Tetramethyl-2-hexadecen-1-ol, nHexadecanoic acid, Propanic acid, 3-mercapto, dodecyl ester, Phytol, 9,12 Octadecadienoic acid (zz), 3-Naphthalen-2yl-3-Piperidin-1-yl-Propan-1-ol, 9 (2, 2 Dimethylpropanoihydrazono)-3,6-dichloro-2,7-bis-(2-diethylamino)-ethoxyl...
