This research was conducted to determine the effect of changing the type of lamp, the addition of... more This research was conducted to determine the effect of changing the type of lamp, the addition of power, and the number of lighting points to the strength of the lighting in the Classroom and Reading Room of the Postgraduate Program at the Bung Hatta Building, Jakarta State University. This research was conducted because the room has strong lighting that is too large during the day and too low at night. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive engineering method through three stages of engineering namely manual measurement using Luxmeter, manual calculations based on SNI standards, and simulations. The results showed that when the treatment has not been done, the average value of the measured illumination and based on the simulation results in the reading room (6th floor) and lecture room (7th and 8th floor) do not meet SNI 03-6197: 2011 Standards. Through changing the type of lamp, the addition of power, and the number of points 15 rooms meet the standards with an average optimization presentation of 20% to 88%.

An experimental electrical circuit was configured by giving nonlinear loads effect to determine the number of harmonics that appear. Then design filters on the circuit to mitigate the harmonics that occur in accordance with IEEE 1531-2003 standard. The greater the non-linear loads, the greater the voltage and current harmonics were produced. Penelitian dilakukan di Gedung Annex dengan cara pengukuran pada modul surya dan inverter dan dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2018. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai effisiensi modul surya rata-rata adalah 6,65%. Energi netto output yang dihasilkan rata-rata adalah 32,61 kWh dan kapasitas nominal PLTS adalah 15,4 kW, sehingga nilai final sistem PLTS menjadi 2,12 jam. Jumlah irradiansi total perhari rata-rata yang terukur adalah 4,65 kWh/m2 dengan nilai irradiansi referensi adalah 1 kW/m2, sehingga nilai reference yield menjadi 4,65 jam. The research method used was the experimental research method. In this study, the experiment was carried out using the ETAP simulation by giving the effect of a harmonic filter on the condition of the electric power system in a mall building. The result simulation before experiment showed the average THD-V was 8.52%, the average THD-I was 5.79%, and the average power factor was 0.72. Futhermore, the result simulation after experiment showed the average THD-V is 3.28%, the average THD-I is 4.22%, and the average power factor was 0.95.Effect harmonic filter to the electricity system of the Mall building is the harmonic voltage decrease up to 61%, the harmonic current decrease up to 30%, and the power factor increase up to 36%.

The conclusion of this research is using a DC-DC converter or boost converter can move seri DC motor loads inertia to which has a maximum voltage of 24 V from the start supply to the boost converter which is 12 V so that the voltage increases twice. Other than that in terms of setting the DC motor speed is influenced by the amount of duty cycle controlled via by arduino uno microcontroller.

This research aimed to create and utilize video-based learning media on motor control course and ... more This research aimed to create and utilize video-based learning media on motor control course and also to determine whether the video-based learning media on motor control course is effective or not. The making of the video-based learning media using several stages, namely, literature study, analysis needs, product planning, product making, instrument making feasibility and feasibility studies that are conducted by the experts, media specialists and students in order to determine the feasibility of the media created. Furthermore, to test the effectiveness of video-based learning media on motor control course, students are given the posttest questions that the validity and reliability have previously been tested by using an experimental model. The results of the feasibility test got a score > 80%, subject experts got a score of 94.23%, media experts 91,66%, and students 86.13%. The results of the feasibility test obtained, video-based learning media on motor control course is said to be very good and fit for use as a media of learning. The average value of students post test using a video-based learning media is 83, while students who do not use a video-based learning media have an average of 80.56. These data showed that value of post test results of motor control course that uses video-based learning media is higher than value of post test results that does not use a video-based learning media. The difference in post test results show that a video-based learning media on motor control course is an effective media of learning.

Standards are used as a benchmark the performance of each chiller uses ISO 6390 in 2011 on Energy Conservation Air system administration Building. These aspects are analyzed to determine the performance of the chiller is the temperature of chilled water, flow chilled water and compressor power. As for the influence of the three aspects is the temperature of the outside environment. By calculating the cooling capacity, the highest Coefficient of Permonace (COP) value can be determined each chiller.Chiller performance analysis results obtained COP value of the highest attainable number 1 at 7.31 chiller, chiller number 2 at 8.03 and chiller number 3 6:27. These values meet the mi nimum value of COP according to ISO standards. Lowest chiller COP value number 1 by 5.08, number 2 for 5.12 chiller and chiller number 3 at 4.22. Third party chiller COP minimum value does not meet the minimum standards of the COP. This research uses engineering methods by utilizing three ways of measurement, manual calculation and simulation of Dialux Evo 6.2. Measurement method using Luxmeter as measuring instrument to get the measured value of the measured light in the learning room based on the standard procedure of calculation according to SNI and the simulation using the program of Dialux Evo 6.2 to predict the strong value of the illumination that should be in the building. Penelitian dilakukan di Gedung Annex dengan cara pengukuran pada modul surya dan inverter dan dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2018. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai effisiensi modul surya rata-rata adalah 6,65%. Energi netto output yang dihasilkan rata-rata adalah 32,61 kWh dan kapasitas nominal PLTS adalah 15,4 kW, sehingga nilai final sistem PLTS menjadi 2,12 jam. Jumlah irradiansi total perhari rata-rata yang terukur adalah 4,65 kWh/m2 dengan nilai irradiansi referensi adalah 1 kW/m2, sehingga nilai reference yield menjadi 4,65 jam. The research method used was the experimental research method. In this study, the experiment was carried out using the ETAP simulation by giving the effect of a harmonic filter on the condition of the electric power system in a mall building. The result simulation before experiment showed the average THD-V was 8.52%, the average THD-I was 5.79%, and the average power factor was 0.72. Futhermore, the result simulation after experiment showed the average THD-V is 3.28%, the average THD-I is 4.22%, and the average power factor was 0.95.Effect harmonic filter to the electricity system of the Mall building is the harmonic voltage decrease up to 61%, the harmonic current decrease up to 30%, and the power factor increase up to 36%.

This research aimed to create and utilize video-based learning media on motor control course and ... more This research aimed to create and utilize video-based learning media on motor control course and also to determine whether the video-based learning media on motor control course is effective or not. The making of the video-based learning media using several stages, namely, literature study, analysis needs, product planning, product making, instrument making feasibility and feasibility studies that are conducted by the experts, media specialists and students in order to determine the feasibility of the media created. Furthermore, to test the effectiveness of video-based learning media on motor control course, students are given the posttest questions that the validity and reliability have previously been tested by using an experimental model. The results of the feasibility test got a score > 80%, subject experts got a score of 94.23%, media experts 91,66%, and students 86.13%. The results of the feasibility test obtained, video-based learning media on motor control course is said to be very good and fit for use as a media of learning. The average value of students post test using a video-based learning media is 83, while students who do not use a video-based learning media have an average of 80.56. These data showed that value of post test results of motor control course that uses video-based learning media is higher than value of post test results that does not use a video-based learning media. The difference in post test results show that a video-based learning media on motor control course is an effective media of learning.

As for the influence of the three aspects is the temperature of the outside environment. By calculating the cooling capacity, the highest Coefficient of Permonace (COP) value can be determined each chiller.Chiller performance analysis results obtained COP value of the highest attainable number 1 at 7.31 chiller, chiller number 2 at 8.03 and chiller number 3 6:27. These values meet the mi nimum value of COP according to ISO standards. Lowest chiller COP value number 1 by 5.08, number 2 for 5.12 chiller and chiller number 3 at 4.22. Third party chiller COP minimum value does not meet the minimum standards of the COP. Measurement method using Luxmeter as measuring instrument to get the measured value of the measured light in the learning room based on the standard procedure of calculation according to SNI and the simulation using the program of Dialux Evo 6.2 to predict the strong value of the illumination that should be in the building.
