I... more Poland syndrome (PS) is a rare musculoskeletal congenital anomaly with variable presentations . Incidence is 1/30,000 live births, more often seen in males than females (3:1). Several theories have been proposed regarding the genesis of PS as vascular disruption theory “ The subclavian artery disruption sequence”. Clinical features include cardiovascular (dextrocardia, atrial septal defects) musculoskeletal (club foot, toe syndactly, hemi vertebrae and scoliosis) genitourinary (renal aplasia and hypospadiasis) hemopoietic (spherocytosis and myelogenous leukemia, lymphoma) abnormalities. Absence of sternal head of pectoralis major muscle is an essential feature of PS and most often it manifests as ipsilateral thoracic cage and upper limb anomalies. Clinical features are phenotypically variable and manifestations are often subtle in infancy and childhood delaying their diagnosis and plan for intervention. This study explores how the preventive behaviors of restaurant customers towards COVID-19 are sha... more This study explores how the preventive behaviors of restaurant customers towards COVID-19 are shaped by exposure and attention to media coverage, thereby connecting the issues of community anxieties and business resilience during crises. Ways in which media exposure and attention predict COVID-19 preventive behaviors were examined, as these relate to emotional fear responses and cognitive risk perceptions. An online survey was administered in Taiwan during the COVID-19 pandemic to test the proposed research framework. A total of 366 responses were collected using convenience sampling, and structural equation modeling was deployed to examine the hypothesized relationships. Results indicate that consumer fears and risk perceptions were positively influenced by media coverage of COVID-19. Moreover, fear positively affected individual risk perceptions, and risk perception positively influenced restaurant preventive behaviors. Risk perception was also identified as a mediator between a) media exposure and restaurant preventive behaviors and b) media attention and restaurant preventive behaviors. Growth process has been analyzed by varying pH from 5.5 to 13 along with post heat treatment process through the observation of surface morphology from 2D plates, triangular, hexagonal rods, needles, and finally to hierarchical. X-ray diffraction (XRD) reveals many intermediate phases along with ZnO which has been eliminated through the proper pH and temperature. The native defects have been discussed by using Raman and positron annihilation spectroscopy. Further, multifunctional properties of synthesized material have been discussed by candle-like warm white luminescence, photocatalysis, electrocatalysis and energy storage applications. ABSTRACT In this paper, we propose that multiculturalism can serve as an effective public policy ... more ABSTRACT In this paper, we propose that multiculturalism can serve as an effective public policy tool to enhance a nation’s competitiveness, in an era characterized by financial crises, globalization, immigration, and changing demographics. Specifically, we articulate how multiculturalism and strategic tolerance of differences can promote socioeconomic mobility for individuals, and act as the “glue” that binds immigrants and host country nationals together. We also demonstrate how multiculturalism can attract skilled talents necessary for nation building. Immigrants who retain their ties with their countries of origin (home countries) can serve as natural trade links for their countries of residence (host country) and contribute to a reverse “brain flow” rather than a brain gain/drain for the countries of residence/origin. We conclude by explicating that immigrants can be a source of competitive advantage for countries when a multiculturalism policy is in place.

To Collect the data is using a questionnaire. The total number of respondents sampled of the study was 148 Tokopedia customers in West Jakarta. This study uses SPSS20 to process data.
