The qualitative study relied on secondary literature, drawing themes from the crux of the study, which is changing identity in cyberspace. The study found the following common types of online identities-Some common fake identities prevalent online are Pseudonymous Impersonation, catfishing, sockpuppetry, identity theft, anonymity and deindividuation, role playing, phishing, Fake Reviews and Testimonials. The study found that anonymity offers users opportunities for exploration and self-expression and can lead to the development of a more authentic collective identity it also poses challenges related to accountability and authenticity. Fluidity and multiplicity of identity in cyberspace offer opportunities for personal growth and diverse social connections, but also pose challenges related to authenticity, accountability, and the stability of social relationships, but it can also result in negative behaviors, such as trolling and harassment, which can undermine the sense of community. Lastly, by implementing robust identity verification technologies, establishing clear legal frameworks, and fostering international cooperation, policymakers can mitigate the risks associated with fake identities and enhance the security of users and nations in the digital age.

More fundamental is the cumulative cases of elections technologies failure in Africa, specifically, Nigeria and the derailment of democratization in turn. A significant part of the argument has been to link such technological failures in elections, digital democracy and its impact on democratization to social-technical factors or technical glitches without recourse to the political ecosystem. This paper therefore departs from that argumentation, proposing that the prevailing empirical realities do not correlate with such school of thought that technical glitches are responsible for failure of digital democracy and de-democratization. But rather, underpins regime type - the hubris of electoral autocracy, partisan EMBs and ethnic-charged political rivalry as factors undercutting digital democracy and democratization in Nigeria and other transitional democracies around the globe. The paper consequently drums up support for tightening of global institutional laws on elections technologies and digital democracy in order to ignite a break-neck speed of democratization.
Keywords: Nigerian elections, Digital democracy, Electoral autocracy, Elections integrity, Technological failures.

The reason its information conveyance roles, which often gives it a binary view of situations. Binary in the sense of its helicopter overview of issues, ahead of the presentation, or relaying to an anonymous and heterogeneous audience. Within that context, it may impact the conditions of the relationship between parties in institutional interaction, either by fostering understanding or creating disaffection. This can happen more if there are limitations in responsibilities, opening the ground for media judgments, often primed to be critical. The critical disposition of the media is taken-for-granted, for its expected role in x-raying issues, through a pedestal of dispassion, or on an objectivity framework. Institutions are likely to evade negative media scrutiny, if they are salutary in outputs, in line with their mandates, and could court fierce overview, if otherwise. While this does not mean that the media is immaculate, it envisages the role of an ombudsman for the media, which at once privileges partnership and collaboration, if institutions, abstract or actual, are to meet their growth and development objectives. In this paper, however, how can the media engender trust between the police and the public? But first is a focus on the method of data collection.

Before the discovery of oil in the 70s, Nigeria's economy was based on agriculture. The discovery of oil, however, changed the situation as the attention of both the government and Nigerians was shifted more to the oil. Due to the current fall in the prices of oil in the global market, however, Nigeria is facing economic recession. This has imposed so much hardship on Nigerians. In many states, governors, apart from irregular payment of salaries, are threatening to cut down the salaries of their workers. Life is unbearable despite Nigeria claiming to be the largest economy in Africa. This paper has, therefore, in order to fight the recession, advocated a return to agriculture in Nigeria. The paper noted that since majority of farmers are rural dwellers, information managers at the grass root could play a very big role in this regard.
