Anyone who works with sex offenders knows the difficulty in helping an offender develop the relapse-prevention skills and insight needed to prevent offense recurrences. The book presents and discusses information and suggestions in civil (personal injury, especially) and workers' compensation areas of the law, but not in criminal and family areas. To supplement these deficits, novice (wishing to acquire knowledge and skills) and experienced (wishing to review and hone knowledge and skills) forensic practitioners will need to go elsewhere.'
