Kenyataan di SMU YPE Semarang menunjukan gejala yang bervariasi, tidak semua siswa yang menjadi p... more Kenyataan di SMU YPE Semarang menunjukan gejala yang bervariasi, tidak semua siswa yang menjadi pengurus OSIS menunjukan adanya motivasi berprestasi yang tinggi dan ada pula siswa yang terlibat aktif dalam kepengurusan OSIS pengurus OSIS menunjukan motivasi berprestasi yang tinggi, sehingga perlu diteliti lebih lanjut secara empiris. Permasalahan yang dikaji apakah ada perbedaan motivasi berprestasi antara siswa yang menjadi pengurus OSIS dengan siswa yang bukan pengurus OSIS di SMA YPE Semarang Tahun Pelajaran 2004/2005? Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan-perbedaan motivasi berprestasi antara siswa yang menjadi pengurus OSIS dengan siswa yang bukan pengurus OSIS di SMA YPE Semarang Tahun Pelajaran 2004/2005. Populasi yang diteliti adalah siswa SMA YPE Semarang. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 20 siswa yang menjadi pengurus OSIS dan 25 siswa yang bukan pengurus OSIS. Variabel yang diteliti yaitu motivasi berprestasi siswa. alat pengambil data berupa angket. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata motivasi berprestasi siswa yang menjadi pengurus OSIS mencapai 3,36 dalam katepori cukup. Dilihat dari indikatornya ternyata rata-rata berorientasi suksesnya mencapai 3,34 dalam kategori cukup, berorientasi ke depan sebesar 3,46 dalam kategori tinggi, suka tantangan mencapai 3,21 dalam kategori cukup, dan pada indikator tangguh mencapai 3,41 dalam kategori tinngi. Rata-rata motivasi berprestasi siswa yang bukan pengurus OSIS mencapai 3,10. Dilihat indikatornya ternyata rata-rata berorientasi suksesnya mencapai 3,14 dalam kategori cukup, berorientasi ke depan sebesar 3,20 dalam kategori cukup, suka tantangan mencapai 2,92 dalam kategori cukup, dan pada indikator tangguh mencapai 3,12 dalam kategori cukup. Dari hasil uji t diperoleh nilai thitung (4,060) dengan probabilitas 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti secara nyata ada berbedaan yang nyata motivasi berprestasi antara siswa yang menjadi pengurus OSIS dengan siswa yang bukan pengurus OSIS. Dilihat dari rata-ratanya maka siswa yang menjadi pengurus OSIS cenderung mempunyai motivasi berprestasi yang lebih tinggi dari pada yang bukan pengurus OSIS. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan motivasi berprestasi antara siswa yang menjadi pengurus OSIS dengan siswa yang bukan pengurus OSIS di SMU YPE Semarang, di mana motivasi berprestasi siswa yang menjadi pengurus OSIS lebih tinggi dari pada yang bukan pengurus OSIS. Disarankan kepada pembina OSIS dan guru pembimbing untuk menyeleksi jenis kegiatan OSIS yang mampu meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi siswa. Dengan pengawasan dan arahan tersebut diharapkan siswa yang menjadi pengurus OSIS mampu bersaing dalam prestasi di kelas dan tetap dapat menjalankan kepengurusan OSIS. Bagi siswa yang bukan pengurus OSIS hendaknya juga diberikan kegiatan atau penugasan yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi seperti karya ilmiah, tugas belajar di rumah yang menuntut tanggung jawab yang tinggi dan keuletan dalam mengerjakan tugas tersebut, tidak terkecuali bagi siswa yang menjadi pengurus OSIS juga mendapatkan penugasan tersebut. Bagi peneliti lain dapat mengkaji lebih lanjut tentang perbedaan jenis kegiatan yang dilakukan antara siswa yang menjadi pengurus OSIS dan kaitannya dengan motivasi berprestasi. Dengan penelitian tersebut diharapkan dapat ditemukan jenis-jenis kegiatan yang berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan motivasi berprestasi siswa.

Starting from Karanganyar to Sragen District, mass fish deaths happen up to 3-4 times a year due to organic matter pollution. The research was conducted to determine water quality during the rainy season (April 2020) and the dry season (August 2020). Samplings were carried out in three zones: the upstream zone (I) in Sukoharjo District, Central Java; the middle zone (II) in the Solo City, Karanganyar, and Sragen District, Central Java; and the downstream zone (III) in Ngawi and Bojonegoro District, East Java. Results showed that the waters of Bengawan Solo in zone I were not affected by waste. After reaching zone II, there was a heavy pollution effect. In zone III, the water quality has returned to normal levels (recovery). The fish species in zone I were dominated by exotic fish such as Nila (Oreochromis niloticus) and Jambal Sius (Pangasianodon hypothalamus). The fish species in zone II was dominated by Sapu sapu (Pterygoplichthys pardalis). In zone III were dominated by native fish species such as Jendil (Pangasius polyuranodon), Seren (Cyclocheilichthys enoplos), Bendol (Barbichthys laevis), Wader (Rasbora spp.), Keting (Barbonymus gonionotus), Daringan (Mystus microcanthus), and Tagih (Hemibagrus nemurus).

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode non probably sampling. Kemudian dilakukan analisis terhadap data-data yang diperoleh berupa analisis kuantitatif, uji asumsi klasik, regresi berganda, uji t, uji F an uji koefisien determinan (R2). The model is built based on gaps in empirical research on the factors that influence the development and sustainability of community empowerment trust fund management and places the factors that characterize the institution to fill these gaps. The method used to test the model statistically is path analysis regression. The results obtained are that social capital built from community empowerment is proven to mediate the factors that determine the development of community empowerment trust fund management. This study's results can be used as a model for the development and sustainability of community empowerment trust fund management by building social capital based on community empowerment.

This research is to find out how much the readiness of Surakarta Private University (PTS) librarians in responding to the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI). The survey was conducted on 46 librarians at 11 Surakarta Universities. SPSS Software with Sample T-Test is used to analyze data. From the T-Test, showed that 78.3% of librarians had not taken the Exam, 19.6% had participated in the training and 2.2% had failed the competency test. The study aims to investigate the impact of energy consumption, population size, economic growth,... more The study aims to investigate the impact of energy consumption, population size, economic growth, urbanization, industrialization and poverty on environmental degradation in Malaysia by using the data for the period of 1995-2017. Data was gathered from different sources such as Global Economy, World Bank and Index Mundi. Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) test is used to check the stationarity of the data. While Auto Regressive Distributive Lag model (ARDL) to analyze the results. The study finds a positive impact of energy consumption on environmental degradation in short as well as in long run. Population, industrialization and poverty positively contribute in environment degradation while urbanization negatively contributes in environmental degradation in long run. Economic growth positively contributes in environmental degradation in short run only. The study suggests government to produce energy by using renewable sources that have less contribution in environmental degradation. This study provides guideline to the policy making authorities that they should enhance their emphasis towards energy consumption and environmental degradation.

A hundred research priorities of critical importance to protected area management were identified... more A hundred research priorities of critical importance to protected area management were identified by a targeted survey of conservation professionals; half researchers and half practitioners. Respondents were selected to represent a range of disciplines, every continent except Antarctica and roughly equal numbers of men and women. The results analysed thematically and grouped as potential research topics as by both practitioners and researchers. Priority research gaps reveal a high interest to demonstrate the role of protected areas within a broader discussion about sustainable futures and if and how protected areas can address a range of conservation and socioeconomic challenges effectively. The paper lists the hundred priorities structured under broad headings of management, ecology, governance and social (including political and economic issues) and helps contribute to setting future research agendas.

Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan motivasi berprestasi antara siswa yang menjadi pengurus OSIS dengan siswa yang bukan pengurus OSIS di SMU YPE Semarang, di mana motivasi berprestasi siswa yang menjadi pengurus OSIS lebih tinggi dari pada yang bukan pengurus OSIS. Disarankan kepada pembina OSIS dan guru pembimbing untuk menyeleksi jenis kegiatan OSIS yang mampu meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi siswa. Dengan pengawasan dan arahan tersebut diharapkan siswa yang menjadi pengurus OSIS mampu bersaing dalam prestasi di kelas dan tetap dapat menjalankan kepengurusan OSIS. Bagi siswa yang bukan pengurus OSIS hendaknya juga diberikan kegiatan atau penugasan yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi seperti karya ilmiah, tugas belajar di rumah yang menuntut tanggung jawab yang tinggi dan keuletan dalam mengerjakan tugas tersebut, tidak terkecuali bagi siswa yang menjadi pengurus OSIS juga mendapatkan penugasan tersebut. Bagi peneliti lain dapat mengkaji lebih lanjut tentang perbedaan jenis kegiatan yang dilakukan antara siswa yang menjadi pengurus OSIS dan kaitannya dengan motivasi berprestasi. Dengan penelitian tersebut diharapkan dapat ditemukan jenis-jenis kegiatan yang berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan motivasi berprestasi siswa.

Starting from Karanganyar to Sragen District, mass fish deaths happen up to 3-4 times a year due to organic matter pollution. The research was conducted to determine water quality during the rainy season (April 2020) and the dry season (August 2020). Samplings were carried out in three zones: the upstream zone (I) in Sukoharjo District, Central Java; the middle zone (II) in the Solo City, Karanganyar, and Sragen District, Central Java; and the downstream zone (III) in Ngawi and Bojonegoro District, East Java. Results showed that the waters of Bengawan Solo in zone I were not affected by waste. After reaching zone II, there was a heavy pollution effect. In zone III, the water quality has returned to normal levels (recovery). The fish species in zone I were dominated by exotic fish such as Nila (Oreochromis niloticus) and Jambal Sius (Pangasianodon hypothalamus). The fish species in zone II was dominated by Sapu sapu (Pterygoplichthys pardalis). In zone III were dominated by native fish species such as Jendil (Pangasius polyuranodon), Seren (Cyclocheilichthys enoplos), Bendol (Barbichthys laevis), Wader (Rasbora spp.), Keting (Barbonymus gonionotus), Daringan (Mystus microcanthus), and Tagih (Hemibagrus nemurus).

The model is built based on gaps in empirical research on the factors that influence the development and sustainability of community empowerment trust fund management and places the factors that characterize the institution to fill these gaps. The method used to test the model statistically is path analysis regression. The results obtained are that social capital built from community empowerment is proven to mediate the factors that determine the development of community empowerment trust fund management. This study's results can be used as a model for the development and sustainability of community empowerment trust fund management by building social capital based on community empowerment.

The survey was conducted on 46 librarians at 11 Surakarta Universities. SPSS Software with Sample T-Test is used to analyze data. The study aims to investigate the impact of energy consumption, population size, economic growth,... more The study aims to investigate the impact of energy consumption, population size, economic growth, urbanization, industrialization and poverty on environmental degradation in Malaysia by using the data for the period of 1995-2017. Data was gathered from different sources such as Global Economy, World Bank and Index Mundi. Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) test is used to check the stationarity of the data. While Auto Regressive Distributive Lag model (ARDL) to analyze the results. The study finds a positive impact of energy consumption on environmental degradation in short as well as in long run. Population, industrialization and poverty positively contribute in environment degradation while urbanization negatively contributes in environmental degradation in long run. Economic growth positively contributes in environmental degradation in short run only. The study suggests government to produce energy by using renewable sources that have less contribution in environmental degradation. This study provides guideline to the policy making authorities that they should enhance their emphasis towards energy consumption and environmental degradation.

A hundred research priorities of critical importance to protected area management were identified... more A hundred research priorities of critical importance to protected area management were identified by a targeted survey of conservation professionals; half researchers and half practitioners. Respondents were selected to represent a range of disciplines, every continent except Antarctica and roughly equal numbers of men and women. The results analysed thematically and grouped as potential research topics as by both practitioners and researchers. Priority research gaps reveal a high interest to demonstrate the role of protected areas within a broader discussion about sustainable futures and if and how protected areas can address a range of conservation and socioeconomic challenges effectively. The paper lists the hundred priorities structured under broad headings of management, ecology, governance and social (including political and economic issues) and helps contribute to setting future research agendas.
