The practice of women's capitalization in the oil and gas exploration area in the Gayam Bojonegor... more The practice of women's capitalization in the oil and gas exploration area in the Gayam Bojonegoro is very interesting. The practice starts from changing the appearance of women, then spreading to social relations that are contrary to social and religious norms to prostituting themselves because they have been tarnished and/ or due to economic reasons. Economic reasons are also used by husbands who allow their wives to be 'leased' to others and parents who allow their children to do something that is contrary to existing moral norms. The results of the study are as follows; First, the social structure of the Gayam community is transformative; a transitional society from a closed to an open society that is conducting cultural hybridization. Second, the cause of the capitalization of married women which is considered as social irregularity or an anomie that occurs in the Gayam community is the social structure of the transformative Gayam community that causes ambiguity in roles, status, and norms that have not been clearly agreed upon by the community which ultimately impacts on social dysfunction / social disorder and cause to dua-gender injustice and a combination of capitalist production systems and patriarchal ideology. While the motive for capitalization of wife / woman who is married is to meet the physiological needs of the family.
