Since it is temporary, the formwork will be removed or disassembly after the concrete reaches sufficient strength. Formworkconstruction requires consideration of the use of the method or system used to be more efficient and economical, especially for typical buildings, namely buildings that have the same shape and size between buildings and each other. The use of Aluminum Formwork on beams, columns, and floor plates. the "Triple Zig-Zag" method in typical buildings is very suitable for use since one of the advantages of this formwork is that it can be used many times and produces less waste compared to conventional formwork. This study aims to review the cost savings resulting from the use of alform formwork compared to conventional formwork, with a case study on housing development project A. This project has several types of housing with a building area of 145/105 m2, as many as 20 units. This calculation uses quantitative descriptive analysis, by calculating the need for formwork. The results of the analysis showed that using alform formwork with the "Triple Zig-Zag" method can save as much as 6 times the use, thus saving IDR. 455,983,209.32 or 69% of the original plan of column, beam, and floor platesformwork for 20 building units (IDR. 657,273,094.52).

Nowadays mortar technology has developed so rapidly along with the advancement of construction technology. The development of technology in the construction industry has resulted in better product and system innovations so that they are more competitive and applicable. The demands of increasingly complex needs also need to be responded to wisely and made as hopes and opportunities in business development. Ready-mix mortar is perfect for all kinds of work such as normal masonry, light brick, stucco, ceramics, and floor coating. While from the mechanical properties, the compressive strength of the mortar can meet requirements of standard specifications according to the purpose of its use. Ready-made Dry Plaster Mortar is a mixture of fine aggregate with binding material and various additives. The purpose of using additives is to improve the properties of ready-mix plaster dry mortar. One of the additives used is metakaolin. This study aims to determine the effect of metakaolin on compressive strength and cost efficiency of plastering (mortar). The compressive pressure test object measures 50 mm x 50 mm x 50 mm. Compressive strength testing is carried out at the time when the mortar is 7, 14 and 28 days old. The study was conducted with variations in the use of Metakaolin in ostrich mortar plaster products, namely 0%, 5%, 7.5%, 10%, The results showed that a mixture of ready-made plaster dry mortar with the use of methionine 10% of the weight of cement was able to provide a ready-made dry plaster mortar that meet the requirements in ASTM C 91, Standard specification for masonry cement.

Several materials have been used as an addition to the common concrete mix to strengthen it, such as but not limited to crumb rubber, polypropylene fibers, steel fibers, and so on. The size of mixed material will not matter much except for joint construction. Joint construction on reinforced concrete has a narrow material workspace which makes the size of mixed material matter. This paper will evaluate the strength of steel fiber over a narrow space. From this evaluation , we conclude that increasing the number and the length of the wire will rise concrete pull strength but will lower its workability.

LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) and HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) are polyethylene chain structures that can be found in daily life, such as the form of plastic food wrappers, plastic bags and shopping bags. This study aims to compare the effect of using LDPE and HDPE plastic waste without the use of plastic waste on the characteristics of the hot asphalt mixture Marshall Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course (AC-WC). After obtaining the optimum asphalt content at 5.6%, the optimum plastic content for LDPE is 2.1% and HDPE is 2.4%. The results of the Marshall characteristic test showed that the stability value of the AC-WC hot asphalt mixture with the addition of HDPE plastic waste was higher, that was 1216 kg, compared to the addition of LDPE plastic which was 1130 kg and without the addition of 1211 kg plastic. The value of flow in the addition of LDPE plastic had the highest value, 3.53 mm compared to the addition of HDPE plastic, 3.27 mm and without the addition of plastic which had the lowest value, 3.20 mm. From the results of residual stability testing with IKS (Residual Strength Index), the addition of LDPE plastic was 95.6% and HDPE 93.7%, while without the addition of plastic it was 90.3%.
