Therefore, it is crucial to have enough information about elderly's quality of life and its influencing factors so that actions could be taken to improve their quality of life. Therfore, the aim of the present study was to investigate the relationship between Memory Self-efficacy and Hope with Quality of Life in older adults. Method: The present research is a Functional and cross-sectional study. For this purpose, the sample of the research is included 120 elderly adults who older than 60, selected with convenience sampling method. The participants completed the Lipad Quality of Life questionnaire, Memory Self-Efficacy Questionnaire and Snyder Hope Scale. To conduct the necessary descriptive and inferential statistical operations, SPSS (Version 19) was used. Mean, standard deviation and Pearson correlation coefficient were utilized to analyze the data in the descriptive statistics section, and in inferential statistics section, simultaneous multiple regressions were used to predict quality of life. Results: The results show that quality of life has a positive and meaningful relationship with Memory Self-efficacy (P<0/01, r= 0/29) and hope (P<0/01, r=0/34) in elderly adults. Also, the memory self-efficacy and hope can be explained 13% of variance quality of life in elderly. Conclusion: Self-efficacy and hope is an important factor for maintaining quality of life in the elderly. Therefore, understanding the memory self-efficacy and hope and strengthen these factors, can be an effective method to enhance the quality of life of elderly people.

The present study aimed to investigate the mediating role of satisfying basic psychological needs in the relationship between family communication patterns and internet addiction among female high school students in Iran. For this purpose, 250 second-grade female students of Yasouj high schools were selected with a multi-stage cluster random sampling method and asked to answer Revised Family Communication Patterns, Psychological Basic Needs Satisfaction, and Internet Addiction questionnaires. The results showed that family communication patterns were related to basic psychological needs. In addition, greater psychological needs satisfaction was connected with low levels of internet addiction. Background & aim: The purpose of this study was investigating the effectiveness of cognitivebehav... more Background & aim: The purpose of this study was investigating the effectiveness of cognitivebehavioral techniques training on procrastination, stress, anxiety and depression of high school female students. Methods: The present quasi experimental pretest-posttest plan with 2 groups was selected to conduct this study and Procrastination, depression, anxiety and stress questionnaires were used to collect data. Population of this study was all Bahmeie high school female students of natural science in 2011-2012 academic years, 60 of them selected through random cluster sampling techniques as the sample of research. They were placed in 2 groups of 30 subjects (1 control group and 1 experimental group). After the pretest, the participants in experimental group were given cognitive-behavioral techniques training for one hours in 8 sessions. The control group did not receive any traning in all these session. After the sessions, these groups were evaluated once again. Results: analysis of MANCOVA showed that post test procrastination, anxiety and stress of 2 groups had meaningful difference but difference between post-test of 2 groups in depression hadn't been meaningful. Conclusions: training of cognitive-behavioral techniques reduced procrastination, anxiety and stress in experimental group in comparison with control group but it did not have a meaningful effect on control group depression.

Episodic memory was examined usingtest of recalling high and low frequency words as well as famous and non-famous images. Semantic memory was evaluated using mobility and classification vocabulary tests. A 2 X 2 factor design (two genders and two self-efficacy levels) was used.Results: ANOVA results showed a significant difference in episodic memory between students’ high and low self-efficacy. پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی استقلال هوش از عقلانیت در میان دانشجویان ترم اول رشته­های علوم انسانی و ع... more پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی استقلال هوش از عقلانیت در میان دانشجویان ترم اول رشته­های علوم انسانی و علوم پایه انجام گرفت. جامعه این پژوهش، تمام دانشجویان ورودی رشته­های جامعه­شناسی و روان­شناسی از دانشکده علوم انسانی و نیز دانشجویان رشته­های فیزیک و ریاضیات از دانشکده علوم پایه که در سال تحصیلی 98-1397 در دانشگاه یاسوج مشغول به تحصیل بودند. جهت انتخاب نمونه، با استفاده از روش نمونه­گیری طبقه­ای نسبتی، تعداد 70 نفر دانشجو انتخاب شدند. گردآوری اطلاعات، با استفاده از مقیاس ارزیابی جامع تفکر عقلانی (CART) که توسط (Stanovich, West & Toplak, 2016) طراحی شده بود و نسخه سوم آزمون هوش وکسلر(WISC-III) انجام شد. تجزیه و تحلیل داده­ها با استفاده از آزمون تی برای گروه­های مستقل، تحلیل واریانس یک­طرفه و اندازه تأثیر با شاخص (d) کوهن صورت پذیرفت. یافته­ها نشان دادند که تفاوت معناداری بین بهره­ هوشی (کلامی و عملکردی) دانشجویان علوم پایه و علوم انسانی وجود نداشت. همچنین تفاوت معناداری بین بهره عقلانی دانشجویان علوم پایه و علوم انسانی به­دست نیامد. اما تفاوت معناداری بین بهره هوشی با بهره عقلانی به­دست آ...

Teacher self-efficacy, as a socio-affective concept, has been abundantly studied in relation to d... more Teacher self-efficacy, as a socio-affective concept, has been abundantly studied in relation to different factors. However, it seems that the consequences of teachers' self-efficacy have not been appropriately explored to the present date. The present study aimed at investigating the consequences of EFL teachers' teaching self-efficacy. In so doing, a qualitative research method was used. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 20 EFL teachers who were selected through purposive sampling. The interviews were content analyzed thematically. Findings showed that self-efficacy has three main consequences: pedagogical, learner-related, and psychological. Each of these consequences has several sub-categories. It can be concluded that high self-efficacy affects teachers’ teaching practices, learners’ motivation, and achievement. To this aim, 200 students (80 males and 120 females) were selected by cluster sampling from students of six faculties in Tehran Tarbiat Moallem University. The instruments used to serve the purpose of the study include Self-regulated Learning Questionnaire (1995), General Self-efficacy Scale (1981), and Academic Stress Scale (1991). According to the analysis of the results and correlations, while self-regulation, cognition, meta-cognition, and selfefficacy have a positive and significant relationship with each other, they show a negative and significant relationship with academic stress. To this aim, 200 students (80 males and 120 females) were selected by cluster sampling from students of six faculties in Tehran Tarbiat Moallem University. The instruments used to serve the purpose of the study include Self-regulated Learning Questionnaire (1995), General Self-efficacy Scale (1981), and Academic Stress Scale (1991). According to the analysis of the results and correlations, while self-regulation, cognition, meta-cognition, and selfefficacy have a positive and significant relationship with each other, they show a negative and significant relationship with academic stress.
