Wood, which is a sustainable material, is widely used for various purposes, including for buildin... more Wood, which is a sustainable material, is widely used for various purposes, including for buildings. The main part of the wooden building lies in the main frame. Wood frame technology is developing quite rapidly, which is generally centered on technology from the Western world. The wood frame technology for traditional houses in Indonesia is unique, which is generally adapted to local conditions, including traditional Banjar houses. Research on traditional Banjar houses has not yet reached an adequate in-depth study of the wooden frame, even though it is unique and responsive to swampland conditions and the local environment. The wooden frame structure and construction system of traditional Banjar houses, apart from adding to the global vocabulary of wooden frames, can also be used as an alternative to wooden frames for conventional buildings. Therefore, this research is important to be carried out. This research was conducted by first taking an inventory of the structural and construction systems of several samples of traditional Banjarese houses, to be analyzed in order to obtain the formulation of the structural and construction system. The existing data and formulations will be combined with the structure and foundation construction that has been obtained in previous studies. A qualitative analysis was also carried out on the obtained formulas to provide an understanding of the forces acting on them and the reactions of the elements and their connections. The method is carried out through secondary data and direct data collection in the field, where the data obtained are compiled and analyzed with a matrix to get the level of regularity of the structure and construction system. The structural and construction systems that have been formulated will be analyzed qualitatively by their actions and reactions in the context of the forces acting on them. It was found that the wooden structure system in a traditional Banjar house consists of 17 structural elements, of which 5 have a major role in the structural system and have unique characteristics compared to other conventional and traditional systems. These structural elements form a solid wooden structural system which is proven by the survival of traditional Banjar houses to this day.

Sebagai bagian dari peninggalan kebudayaan yang berharga, populasi rumah tradisional Banjar saat ... more Sebagai bagian dari peninggalan kebudayaan yang berharga, populasi rumah tradisional Banjar saat ini mengalami perubahan dan kepunahan satu per satu. Upaya preservasi yang dilakukan pihak terkait hanya menyentuh sebagian kecil dari populasi. Karenanya diperlukan suatu upaya alternatif untuk melestarikan populasi yang tersisa. Untuk merumuskan upaya alternatif tersebut sepatutnya didahului dengan studi berapa besar tingkatan perubahan atau kepunahan tersebut. Akurasi tingkat perubahan tergantung dari data komperhensif yang dimiliki di masa lalu. Data tahun 2006-2009 telah diinventarisasi secara komperhensif pada rumah tradisional Banjar yang tersebar di Banjarmasin, Martapura dan Marabahan. Dengan membandingkan sampel dari data tersebut dengan data saat ini (2022), maka akan didapatkan data perubahan yang realistik dan akurat. Dengan data yang realistik dan akurat ini, maka dapat ditelusuri secara lebih mudah faktor-faktor penyebab perubahan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan tingkat perubahan fisik rumah tradisional Banjar dalam kurun waktu 13 sampai dengan 16 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah perbandingan 2 data pada waktu yang berbeda. Data pertama dari penelitian tahun 2006 dan 2009, sedangkan data kedua dari pendataan saat ini (2022). Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa terjadi perubahan atau penurunan kualitas sampai dengan kemusnahan pada seluruh sampel, dimana perubahan denah atau susunan ruang merupakan hal yang dominan diikuti oleh penurunan sampai dengan kemusnahan elemen fisik bangunan, baik badan bangunan, dinding, atap, sampai dengan ornamen dan detail. Elemen fisik yang mengalami degradasi umumnya tidak diganti tapi dibiarkan sampai hancur atau hanya dilapis dengan bahan bangunan yang lain.

Merupakan suatu kajian anatomi bentuk arsitektur kolonial, dengan mengambil studi kasus benteng vreddeburg di yogyakarta. Penelitian ini terbatas hanya pada beberapa bangunan yang terdapat di kompleks benteng di telaah. Sedangkan anatomi yang dibahas adalah keterkaitannya dengan arsitektur renaissance, tradisional jawa dan cina Berdasarkan analisa terahdap anatomi bentuk arsitektur benteng vredeburg, menunjukkan bahwa elemen-elemen penyusun bentuk arsitektur benteng Vredeburg, didominasi oleh bentuk arsitektur renaissance ( sebagai ragam arsitektur asal para pembangunnya/ Belanda). Namun demikian, dari beberapa gedung yang dianalisa terdapat sautu fenomena yang menarik, dimana semakin belakangan bangunan tersebut dibangun semakin besar pengaruh dari arsitektur setempat. Arsitektur setempat tersebut, bukan hanya arsitektur tradisional jawa, akan tetapi juga arsitektur cina (sedikit pengaruhnya) yang merupakan tanggapan terhadap bentuk-bentuk bangunan orang tionghoa yang terdapat disekitar bangunan benteng.

Sebagai suatu jenis pondasi yang sudah teruji oleh waktu, beban dan cuaca, sistem struktur pondasi rumah tradisional Banjar tersebut merupakan obyek struktur yang sangat berharga untuk dikaji lebih mendalam tentang kekuatan, efisiensi dan efektifitasnya. The reality that was just explained happen to be one of the situation where a lot of times were under spotlight due to the lack of diversity and also inclusivity in human resource development for blind and visually impaired people. This problem must be immediately resolved, through identifying the causes of failure to find the structure and construction model of the ideal foundation for swamp land. One of foundation structure and construction that has proven its resistance to various loads in a period of 75 years to more than 200 years on swampy land is the foundation of traditional Banjar houses. The solution to this problem will begin with the identification of the typology of the foundations of traditional houses in Banjarmasin as a swampy area with a depth of hard soil around 40 meters. The typology that is formulated is based on several variables, namely: the elements of the foundation along with the dimensions and type of material, the connection system between the foundation elements, the maximum bearing capacity of the foundation, and the position of the foundation against the tidal of ground water. The research method is carried out through detailed measurement and photographed of the research object which is also drawn to the standard of detailed engineering design (2 dimensions). The graphic data of the research object is used as the basis for formulating the typology of the Banjar traditional house foundation with variable construction elements, connection systems, bearing capacity, and position on the tidal of ground water. The variables are arranged by matrix and analyzed to get typology grouping. From the results of the study, there are 6 types of foundation system in which all types foundation consist of laid down trunks which distributes the load to the ground through columns that bearing the entire load from above. The trunk foundation is below the lowest tidal ground water line and has a greater bearing capacity than the load it delivers.

Saat ini Pos Jaga difungsikan hanya sebagai pos untuk petugas keamanan, sehingga tidak menyatu dengan fasilitas umum lainnya. Lebih jauh lagi pos jaga pada waktu kosong merupakan bangunan yang tidak produktif karena tidak terpakai. Komplek Mandiri yang terletak di Jl. Sultan Adam Banjarmasin, merupakan lingkungan perumahan unik yang sebagian kawasannya berada di pinggiran Sungai Awang. Komplek ini memiliki pos jaga setiap jalurnya dengan berbagai bentuk dan ukuran yang masing-masing berdiri sendiri dan tidak terintegrasi satu sama lain dan tidak terintegrasi dengan fasilitas umum yang ada. Karenanya komplek perumahan ini perlu bantuan teknis untuk perencanaan secara keseluruhan yang terintegrasi satu sama lain dan terintegrasi pula dengan fasilitas umum lainnya, sehingga didapatkan pos jaga yang efisien, efektif dan integratif.

Sebagai bagian dari peninggalan kebudayaan yang berharga, populasi rumah tradisional Banjar saat ... more Sebagai bagian dari peninggalan kebudayaan yang berharga, populasi rumah tradisional Banjar saat ini mengalami perubahan dan kepunahan satu per satu. Upaya preservasi yang dilakukan pihak terkait hanya menyentuh sebagian kecil dari populasi. Karenanya diperlukan suatu upaya alternatif untuk melestarikan populasi yang tersisa. Untuk merumuskan upaya alternatif tersebut sepatutnya didahului dengan studi berapa besar tingkatan perubahan atau kepunahan tersebut. Akurasi tingkat perubahan tergantung dari data komperhensif yang dimiliki di masa lalu. Data tahun 2006-2009 telah diinventarisasi secara komperhensif pada rumah tradisional Banjar yang tersebar di Banjarmasin, Martapura dan Marabahan. Dengan membandingkan sampel dari data tersebut dengan data saat ini (2022), maka akan didapatkan data perubahan yang realistik dan akurat. Dengan data yang realistik dan akurat ini, maka dapat ditelusuri secara lebih mudah faktor-faktor penyebab perubahan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan tingkat perubahan fisik rumah tradisional Banjar dalam kurun waktu 13 sampai dengan 16 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah perbandingan 2 data pada waktu yang berbeda. Data pertama dari penelitian tahun 2006 dan 2009, sedangkan data kedua dari pendataan saat ini (2022). Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa terjadi perubahan atau penurunan kualitas sampai dengan kemusnahan pada seluruh sampel, dimana perubahan denah atau susunan ruang merupakan hal yang dominan diikuti oleh penurunan sampai dengan kemusnahan elemen fisik bangunan, baik badan bangunan, dinding, atap, sampai dengan ornamen dan detail. Elemen fisik yang mengalami degradasi umumnya tidak diganti tapi dibiarkan sampai hancur atau hanya dilapis dengan bahan bangunan yang lain.

Merupakan suatu kajian anatomi bentuk arsitektur kolonial, dengan mengambil studi kasus benteng vreddeburg di yogyakarta. Penelitian ini terbatas hanya pada beberapa bangunan yang terdapat di kompleks benteng di telaah. Sedangkan anatomi yang dibahas adalah keterkaitannya dengan arsitektur renaissance, tradisional jawa dan cina Berdasarkan analisa terahdap anatomi bentuk arsitektur benteng vredeburg, menunjukkan bahwa elemen-elemen penyusun bentuk arsitektur benteng Vredeburg, didominasi oleh bentuk arsitektur renaissance ( sebagai ragam arsitektur asal para pembangunnya/ Belanda). Namun demikian, dari beberapa gedung yang dianalisa terdapat sautu fenomena yang menarik, dimana semakin belakangan bangunan tersebut dibangun semakin besar pengaruh dari arsitektur setempat. Arsitektur setempat tersebut, bukan hanya arsitektur tradisional jawa, akan tetapi juga arsitektur cina (sedikit pengaruhnya) yang merupakan tanggapan terhadap bentuk-bentuk bangunan orang tionghoa yang terdapat disekitar bangunan benteng.

This problem must be immediately resolved, through identifying the causes of failure to find the structure and construction model of the ideal foundation for swamp land. One of foundation structure and construction that has proven its resistance to various loads in a period of 75 years to more than 200 years on swampy land is the foundation of traditional Banjar houses. The solution to this problem will begin with the identification of the typology of the foundations of traditional houses in Banjarmasin as a swampy area with a depth of hard soil around 40 meters. The typology that is formulated is based on several variables, namely: the elements of the foundation along with the dimensions and type of material, the connection system between the foundation elements, the maximum bearing capacity of the foundation, and the position of the foundation against the tidal of ground water. The research method is carried out through detailed measurement and photographed of the research object which is also drawn to the standard of detailed engineering design (2 dimensions). The graphic data of the research object is used as the basis for formulating the typology of the Banjar traditional house foundation with variable construction elements, connection systems, bearing capacity, and position on the tidal of ground water. The variables are arranged by matrix and analyzed to get typology grouping. From the results of the study, there are 6 types of foundation system in which all types foundation consist of laid down trunks which distributes the load to the ground through columns that bearing the entire load from above. The trunk foundation is below the lowest tidal ground water line and has a greater bearing capacity than the load it delivers.

Saat ini Pos Jaga difungsikan hanya sebagai pos untuk petugas keamanan, sehingga tidak menyatu dengan fasilitas umum lainnya. Lebih jauh lagi pos jaga pada waktu kosong merupakan bangunan yang tidak produktif karena tidak terpakai. Komplek Mandiri yang terletak di Jl. Sultan Adam Banjarmasin, merupakan lingkungan perumahan unik yang sebagian kawasannya berada di pinggiran Sungai Awang. Komplek ini memiliki pos jaga setiap jalurnya dengan berbagai bentuk dan ukuran yang masing-masing berdiri sendiri dan tidak terintegrasi satu sama lain dan tidak terintegrasi dengan fasilitas umum yang ada. Karenanya komplek perumahan ini perlu bantuan teknis untuk perencanaan secara keseluruhan yang terintegrasi satu sama lain dan terintegrasi pula dengan fasilitas umum lainnya, sehingga didapatkan pos jaga yang efisien, efektif dan integratif.
