The localization algorithm introduced an improved RSSI vehicle localization algorithm based on multi-path effect and Gaussian white noise. The localization results under different values of Gaussian white noise and different density of beacon nodes are analyzes, and Kalman filtering algorithm is introduced to reduce the influence of signal noise. Finally, a simulation model of ITS is developed to test the algorithm based on mixed noise and Kalman filtering algorithm, which is used to simulate the localization of real vehicles. The simulation shows the algorithm has effect to improve location accuracy and to application

Women also organise mutual support for each other during times of disruption. ■ ■ Men are more active in activities relating to safety, security and other continuity plans for communities. Men are also more likely to hold management roles. ■ ■ To enhance the resilience of the people living in Hue, there are significant opportunities to challenge gender-based conceptions of capacity and responsibility, and to improve the gender sensitivity of decision-making processes and forums. There is growing awareness in Southeast Asia about the significance of gender norms and roles in climate resilience. The expectations on, and responsibilities of, men and women differ due to diff...

The objective of this paper is to attend to these differences by investigating self-stated flood recovery across genders in Vietnam as a conceptual replication of earlier results from Germany. This study employs a regression-based analysis of 1,010 respondents divided between a rural coastal and an urban community in Thua Thien-Hue province. The results highlight an important set of recovery process-related variables. The set of relevant variables is similar across genders in terms of inclusion and influence, and includes age, social capital, internal and external support after a flood, perceived severity of previous flood impacts, and the perception of stress-resilience. However, women were affected more heavily by flooding in terms of longer recovery times, which should be accounted for in risk management. Overall, the studied variables pe...

All primers are new for this work. Genome location is reported with respect to GenBank isolate JX669464. The primers share annealing temperatures, which enables interchangeable use within two sets of primers. Table S2. Genetic variations in the Dengue type 1 genome circulated in Unusual Dengue Epidemic of 2017 in Vietnam. Description of amino acid substitution in the 72 DENV1 virus compared to the 8 reference strains. Homologous amino acids are denoted by (−), and the modified amino acids are denoted by letters. The amino acid site including replacement of hydrophilic and hydrophobic are listed in each gene.

Representative depth of coverage plots for DENV1 circulated in Vietnam 2017. The 72 DENV1 virus were sequenced on the MiSeq platform at a high depth of coverage. The smallest value falls to around 300x and the maximum value reaches to more than 20.000x. Figure S2. The distance estimation between Dengue type 1 samples and references. The box chart depicts the distribution position of the data (respectively from bottom to top). On each stripe, there is a box that represents the overall distance of each sample in the whole set of D1 samples with each of 47 references. The distance between Dengue type 1 sample and references was measure by Mash-distance.

Take maxis for example, they had implemented a payment through kiosk to add value for their customer services. A prototype of Information kiosk of Shah Alam has the same basic idea behind it, which is to make ease of payment and also to browse information regarding Shah Alam. Kiosk is a hardware that is located at a publicly access area. It can provide some mobility capabilities whereby user can access it while they are doing their shopping and during their leisure time. Besides that, they can also use the kiosk to pay bills during outside office hour. This research is mainly conducted in order to develop a prototype of an information kiosk of Shah Alam. The main objective of this project is to: 1) To study about information kiosk 2) To observe current kiosk system 3) To gather relevant information to build Prototype of Shah Alam Information Kiosk System 4) To develop a prototype of an information kiosk o...

Severe oesophageal dilatation in addition to aperistalsis is known as megaoesophagus. Symptomatic compression cardiac compression from oesophageal dilatation as a complication of LAGB is an extremely rare complication and is presented in this case report.

The initial patterning panels are selected as the projection of three-dimensional (3D) membrane panels and are assumed as the reference configuration. While the Lagrangian displacements define the forced displacements from this configuration to the 3D configuration, the Eulerian terms describe the motion from this reference configuration to the current patterning panels. The cutting pattern panels can be determined by this process considering the effect of prescribed pre-stress and material properties. Several examples are performed to point out the effectiveness of the proposed method on simplifying the cutting pattern process and the reduction in the stress deviation from the intended pre-stress.
