It is estimated that about 2 percent of the general population in Iran and 7.3 percent of people over 30 have diabetes. This disease is associated with multiple short-term and long-term complications, which in many cases is not reversible. This retrospective study was conducted to determine the prevalence of type 1 and type 2 diabetes and its related factors in diabetic patients hospitalized in Khatam-ol-Anbia Hospital in Shoushtar during 1994-95. In this retrospective cross-sectional descriptive study, 1257 patients with diagnosis and history of diabetes were examined from all 19995 patients referring to Khatam-ol-Anbia Hospital in Shoushtar during 2014 to 2015. And the required information was collected through a researcher-made checklist from the records. The inclusion criteria for all diabetic patients were Type One and Two. Pregnant diabetes, cases without diabetes and incomplete cases (213 n =) were excluded. Data were then entered into SPSS software version 17. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, Chi-square, Chisquare, T-test, ANOVA and non-parametric tests such as Mann-Whitney and P <0/05 Were analyzed. The sample consisted of 1257 individuals with type 1 and type 2 diabetes with an average age of 58.6 ± 17.6. Of these, 43.2% were male and the rest were female. Of these, 18.6% had type 1 diabetes and the other type 2 diabetes. People with a weaker economic status were more likely to have type 2 diabetes (P <0.0001). Also, people with lower literacy were significantly more likely to have type 2 diabetes than those with more educated ones (P = 0.002). Due to the relatively high prevalence of diabetes in this study and the fact that people with lower literacy are less likely to suffer from type 2 diabetes, there is a need for a higher education class and education through the media and cyberspace to improve the level of education of these patients. It looks like Also, because prevention is always prioritized, it is therefore recommended that training should be provided to diabetic patients in the field of treatment, prevention, and other necessary training through treatment staff, especially nurses, because of the direct and continuous relationship with Patients should be presented.

The peer is a person belonging to the same social group that people believe in terms of their ability to resemble themselves and can have powerful impacts on learning. Use their experiences to provide an educational program to other peers who are in trouble and yet they do not have the necessary skills in the care and control of symptoms associated with the disease. Can be helpful in controlling disease and controlling disease. This systematic review study was conducted to determine the effect of peer education on self-care behaviors in patients. Materials and Methods: In this systematic review Using articles published in the last 25 years on the impact of peer education on patient self-care behaviors. It was conducted in English and Persian by searching articles in search engines, authoritative scientific sites and databases SID, Google Scholar, Embase, Sciencedirect, PubMed, Springer. In the first stage, 39 articles were found. Of these, 10 articles related to the topic published in the last 25 years were reviewed. Results: In this study, aimed at the effect of peer education on self-care behaviors of patients, ten articles were reviewed, the results of one of them, sponsored by peers in the self-care of patients with diabetes, showed that peer education led to increased self-care, proper use of medications and reducing the need for insulin in the peer group is more than controlled. Conclusion: The study showed that peer education seems to be an effective method for reducing anxiety in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass graft surgery. Therefore, it is recommended to use this educational approach in cardiac surgery to educate patients. Also, the effect of peer education on self-care behaviors in diabetic patients is significant. In addition to the impact of this type of training on the diseases studied in this study, this type of education can be effective in many other diseases as an effective way. Therefore, it is recommended to use this method in further research to reduce anxiety, improve self-care behaviors, and so on in patients.

Drug therapies and complementary medicine have been used to treat dysmenorrhea. The aim of this study was to investigate and offer an updated perspective on the treatments for dysmenorrhea. Methods: The present study was conducted in accordance with the PRISMA checklist for systematic reviews and meta-analyses. The required information was collected based on searches for the following keywords: treatment, primary dysmenorrhea, medicinal plants, chemical drugs, and herbs. Searches were performed on databases Pubmed, Web of Sciences, Scopus, Iran medex, and SID by March 2018 to find literature in the English and Persian languages on this subject without a time limit. Results: This review included 17 papers, 10 of which on complementary medicine, three on drug therapies, and four on acupuncture and acupressure. The largest and smallest samples had 303 and 24 patients, respectively. Length of treatment ranged from one to six months and the measures most commonly used in the studies were the visual analogue scale and clinical efficacy. Reported complications included gastrointestinal events, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and liver and kidney disorders. Conclusion: Medicinal plants, drugs, and acupressure seem to suppress pain by reducing the level of prostaglandins, mediating nitric oxide, increasing beta-endorphin levels, blocking the calcium channel, and enhancing circulatory flow through the uterine pathway. Further trials are required to confirm the benefits of the procedures described and ensure the absence of complications.
