It is proved to help organizations improve their service, increase the quality of products, reduce the costs and respond quickly to their customers. However, the success of any organization lies in the ability to perform better processes of knowledge in order to create and maintain a competitive advantage. The main objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between knowledge management process (KMP) capability and service quality (SQ) in universities, specifically in the context of Palestine. Four dimensions of KMP capability are included as follows; acquisition, conversion, the application and protection which are considered as independent variables and service quality as the dependent variable. About (300) academic teaching staff were administered a questionnaire of a five-point Likert’s scale which includes questions on KMP (Acquisition, conversion, Application, and protection) and SQ. The respondents were selected randomly and (286) responses were received. (277) Responses were analyzed statistically by smartpls software. Findings showed that there is a significant positive effect of KMP on enhancing SQ in Palestinian Universities. Application Process proved to have no effect on SQ. Results of this study will provide values and implications to the leaders and managers of higher education for the formation of the new knowledge management (KM) strategies or for the enhancing of their existing processes of KM, These meaningful implications will help to create effective knowledge management (KM) programs and strategies which in turn may enhance the quality of services provided in Palestinian universities and achieve a competitive advantage in the market.

However, the number of empirical studies investigating the interaction between these two dimensions has been limited. This paper examined the mediating role of Trust in Leader, focusing on the influence of transformational Leadership (TL) on the Innovation of Palestinian universities. The study conducted a quantitative questionnaire data from (249) respondents representing the academic teaching staff of the universities in Palestine. Within this study the partial least squares-Structural equation model PLS-SEM for analyzing data and identifying the implications. Linking knowledge management to service quality could make a strong contribution in convincing managers of organizations about the need to adopt knowledge management strategies. Taking these issues into account, this study introduces the pathway to service quality (SQ) with the role of knowledge management capabilities (KMC) (knowledge infrastructure capability KIC and knowledge process capability KPC) and organizational commitment (OC). This paper aims at investigating the role of KMC in enhancing the quality of service in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) through the mediating effect of OC. Based on the analysis conducted on 352 responses from academic middle managers and teaching staff selected from HEIs of Palestine- Gaza Strip. The results exhibit significant positive influence of knowledge management capabilities on enhancing service quality, and organizational commitment partially mediates the relationship between knowledge management capabilities and SQ. These results provide new avenues for managers to enhance service quality of Education institutions using KMC at prime level; with updated technology, sufficient structure, and supportive culture, in addition to ensuring effective implementation of knowledge processes. Additionally, these capabilities will help to increase the level of commitment in organizations, which will lead to quality of service, innovation, competitive advantage and enhanced overall performance.

resources as well as encouraging a culture of knowledge sharing in organizations both have become important issues in many
organizations. Knowledge is one of the best assets that is able to be transmitted into new services and innovative products that
become a cause of competitive advantage for organizations. In this era of knowledge and technology, innovation is seen as the
most important resource for competitive advantages for most of the leading organizations. Hence, these organizations are trying to

is to ensure a successful implementation of knowledge management (KM) in organizations. In this regard, this study is to provide
an answer to the main question on how KM contributes to organizational innovation (OI). The effect of three stages of KM
processes including (knowledge acquisition, knowledge sharing and knowledge application) on two types of organizational
innovation (Product innovation and process innovation) is investigated. The research method followed in this study is descriptive
and correlational. Statistical population consists of (854) academic teaching staff in five public and private Palestinian
universities. Sample was chosen randomly, (261) questionnaires were analyzed out of (290) distributed questionnaires. The
results suggest that KM Processes with the two reviewed dimensions of OI have a positive and significant relationship, as a result,
an effective implementation of KM processes in universities supports the development of organizational innovation. On this
regard, practical recommendations will be provided to managers, decision makers and researchers.
