The Wear and change in Height of Teeth is calculated for the number of blades of High Carbon Steel at different Loads i.e. 5N,10N,15N and 20N with the help of the experimental Setup prepared. The wear and change in height of teeth of blades is calculated through Mass Loss and Profile Projector respectively before and after cutting the given specimen of Mild steel. Similarly, the wear and change in height of teeth of blades is calculated for similar samples of blades using the lubricant 20W40. The result indicates that the wear in the blades increases with the increase in load and decrement in height of the teeth also increases with increase in Load. On comparison of results obtained from dry condition and wet condition, it can be concluded that while using lubricant the wear reduces in blades and there is less reduction in height of teeth of blades, thus blade life increases.

The depletion of petroleum and concern for the pollution due to excessive use of mineral oil base... more The depletion of petroleum and concern for the pollution due to excessive use of mineral oil based lubricants has motivated the researcher globally to direct their work on alternative ie. Biolubricants. Lubricants gives an anti-friction medium which gives smooth motion to mating surfaces, reduce friction and wear. Due to this increasing demand for eco-friendly lubricant, lot of research work has been done to enhance the lubricating oils with adding the additives to improve overall properties. Though researcher studied effect of adding nano particles in synthetic and mineral based lubricant but very limited work is reported in case of nano particle based Biolubricants. The nano based Biolubricant can be a replacement for synthetic lubricant thus providing a ecofriendly alterative. Thus to determine the suitable nanoparticles and Bio lubricants, detail review is needed which also focuses on different parameters. This review paper is aimed to highlight the research carried out in the f...

Heavy metals create a major health problem for the humans because of their persistence, highly toxic nature and tendency to accumulate in the ecosystem. The main aim of this study was to measure the concentration of heavy metals in the locally made food containers at three different temperatures, using various simulating solvents as per guidelines Bureau of Indian standard (BIS), by using Atomic Absorption spectroscopy (AAS). Methods/Statistical analysis: The estimation of heavy metals such as Cd, Cr, Ni, Cu, Mn, Fe, Pb and Zn of plastic leachates were detected by using Atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS). The results were expressed statistically using mean ± standard deviation of triplicate reading of each sample and corresponding control solution. The dunnett comparison were made to assess the level of significance by applying one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) using computer based software ...

The main objectives of this study was to examine the concentration of toxic heavy metals (Pb, Cu, Ni, Zn, Mn, Cr and Cd) in local made food containers purchased from various districts of U.P,(India), at 25±2°C for 24hrs in different simulating solvents as per BIS, IP, USP and other guidelines by using atomic absorption spectrophotometer(AAS). The results found that leaching of heavy metals occur in all samples and showed the order: Pb(1.9-1.01ppm) in S1, S5, S4 > Cu(1.611.01ppm) in S4, S3, S5 > Ni(1.31-1.01ppm) in S3, S5, S2, S4 > Mn(1.01-1.001ppm) in S2, S4, S5 > Zn(1.002ppm) in S2.

The measurements of vibration were carried out on the tractor randomly chosen. An investigation was conducted to determine the transmission of vibration from the steering wheel of the tractor to the wrists and upper arms of the operator under actual field conditions during ploughing field. The vibrations transmitted through the steering wheel of the tractor to the hand of the operator was measured and the frequency spectra for the chosen working conditions were obtained. The maximum transmissibility of vibration were observed in the first two frequency interval (in Hz) i.e. 1-20 and 20-40. The vibration, which is transmitted from the steering wheel of the tractor to the wrists, arms and shoulders causes discomfort to the operator and results in early fatigue.

The main objectives of our study was to examine the concentration of toxic heavy metals like Lead (Pb), Copper(Cu), Nickel(Ni), Zinc(Zn), Manganese(Mn), Chromium(Cr) and Cadmium(Cd) in locally made food containers purchased from various districts of U.P (India). All samples are analyzed at 60±2°C for 2hrs in different simulating solvents as per BIS, IP, USP and other guidelines by using atomic absorption spectrophotometer(AAS). The results shows that leaching of heavy metals occur in all samples and follows the order: Pb(1.9-0.0001 ppm) > Cu(1.61-0.0001 ppm) >Ni(1.31-0.001 ppm) > Zn(1.02 -0.001 ppm) > Mn(1.01-0.0001 ppm) > Cr(0.14-0.0001 ppm) > Cd(0.01-0.0001 ppm). Other methods along with bioremediation have been used to remediate petroleum hydrocarbon contaminants in the past. Bioremediation is cheap and efficient method than any other because major constituents of the crude oils are biodegradable. Despite the fact that, as compared to physicochemical strategies, longer periods are normally required, complete pollutant degradation can be achieved, and no further containment of the contaminated matrix is required. According to hydrocarbon present in the contaminants different strategies and organism are used for the bioremediation. Common strategies include controlling environmental factors such as oxygen availability, hydrocarbon solubility, nutrient balance and managing hydrocarbon degrading bacteria by eliminating the rate limiting factors that may slow down the bioremediation rate.
