Finding solutions to these problems and investigating them using reliable tools are crucial. This study aimed at translating and validating a Persian version of the Coping with Health Injuries and Problems (CHIP) scale in patients with MS.Materials and Methods: The CHIP questionnaire was completed by 206 patients with MS presenting to neurology clinics in Isfahan, Iran. Exploratory factor analysis, face and content validity and reliability were used to identify the factors in this population.Results: With an acceptable Cronbach’s alpha of 0.69, the CHIP scale can be used to identify solutions to the problems of Iranian patients with MS and determine their treatment plan. The present study aims to plan the protocol for providing psychosocial support by social workers ... more The present study aims to plan the protocol for providing psychosocial support by social workers in Iranian healthcare centers and reaching consensus in terms of implementing and offering comprehensive service to individuals dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. This qualitative study consists of four phases. The first phase, the literature review involved studying valid databases, while the second and third phases consisted of collecting data through the Focus Group Discussions with 23 specialists and experts in the field of social work and mental health. Having been designed, the protocol was then applied and assessed for two months in all the state health centers around Iran (633 hospitals). In the present study, Interventions used by the social workers were divided into 9 types: psychosocial assessment, counseling, training, working with the family, intervention in the crisis, intra- and extra-organizational support-seeking, referral and safe discharge. Interventions used by social workers were also divided based on the health center (psychosocial support for the target groups and bereavement intervention for the survivors) and the services offered in convalescent care facilities. This protocol leading social workers into the fields of bereavement interventions, inter-organizational interventions, working with families and working with the medical staff.

مقدمه: سلامت، يكي از حقوق عمده‌ی انسان‌ها می‌باشد و در نتيجه، همه‌ي انسان‌ها بايد به منابع اساسي ... more مقدمه: سلامت، يكي از حقوق عمده‌ی انسان‌ها می‌باشد و در نتيجه، همه‌ي انسان‌ها بايد به منابع اساسي براي تأمين سلامت دسترسي داشته باشند. افزايش اميد به زندگي در انسان‌ها و رشد جمعيت سالمندي به خصوص در جوامع در حال توسعه، يكي از دستاوردهاي قرن 21 بوده چالش‌هاي فراواني در زمينه‌ی اجتماعي به همراه داشته است. بنابراين، مفهوم سلامت اجتماعي در كنار ابعاد جسمي و رواني سلامت در اين قشر، مورد توجه قرار گرفته است. هدف از انجام پژوهش حاضر، مقایسه‌ی وضعیت سلامت اجتماعي دو گروه سالمندان مقيم منازل و سالمندان مقيم سراي سالمندان بود. روش‌ها: جامعه‌ی آماري اين مطالعه‌ی توصيفي- تحليلي، كليه‌ی افراد بالاي 60 سال مقيم منازل و سراي سالمندان شهر تهران در سال 1393 بودند. نمونه‌ی پژوهش، شامل 400 نفر (200 نفر سالمند مقيم منزل و 200 نفر سالمند مقيم سراي سالمندان) بودند كه به روش خوشه‌اي انتخاب و با استفاده از پرسش‌نامه‌ی سنجش سلامت اجتماعي Keyes مقایسه شدند. تجزيه و تحليل داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS و روش‌هاي آماري توصيفي و نیز آزمون‌هاي 2χ و Independent t انجام شد. یافته‌ها: ميانگين سلامت اجتماعي سا...

Materials and methods: In this cross-sectional study, the population included applicants for driving license with psychiatric disorders who were exempt from military service in Khuzestan, Lorestan and Ilam provinces, Iran 2015. The sample size was 585. Data were collected using the checklists provided by the medical commissions in The Law Enforcement Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran (NAJA) which was previously used by The General Department of NAJA with approval of the Ministry of Health. Material and Methods: The authoritative websites on the topic of childhood prostitution performed in Iran during the period 1985 to 2019 were searched in WHO, UNFPA, UNDP, ISI, ProQuest, Medline, Scopus, CINAHL, and Google Scholar databases for reviewing studies conducted in Iran. Articles from internal dissertations and Google's databases, SID, Magiran, Google Scholar, Iran Medex and Iran Doc search engines. Background: Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a psychiatric disorder that can re... more Background: Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a psychiatric disorder that can result in stress for the mother, resulting in poor health. Objectives: The current study, conducted in 2012, aims to assess stress among forty-six Iranian mothers of ADHD children (Group 1) who were admitted to a psychiatric center in Tehran with forty-six Iranian mothers of normal children (Group 2) in 2012. Materials and Methods: The Child Symptom Inventory-4 (CSI-4), the child behavior checklist (CBCL) and the parental stress indexshort form (PSI/SF) were completed. Data was analyzed using the Levene test and the independent t-test in SPSS Version 18. Results: With the exception of mood, ADHD children had more problems in attention compared with normal children. As a result, mothers of ADHD children had more stress compared with the controls. Conclusions: ADHD can impair a mother's mental health by inducing stress. Specific diagnostic and treatment programs should be designed and tailored for the mothers of ADHD children in order to decrease stress.
