insideiraq - Profile (original) (raw)
on 27 April 2004 (#2971244)
insideiraq is a community designed to bring together Iraqis, those who are serving or working in Iraq, Iraqi expatriots, and others who may be going there in the near future.
In order to focus on the needs of those this community serves and to avoid having this community turn into just another political discussion community, members must either be approved or invited by the community's admin (insomnia) for the time being. Feel free to add yourself, at which point I will review your journal and/or get in touch to determine if there is a valid reason for you to be a part of the community. If you have questions, you can contact me directly at insomnia @ livejournal.com That said, please feel free to refer other qualified people you may know to join this community.
Because of the nature of many member's employment/situation, respect for the privacy and anonymity of those who post to insideiraq is essential. For this reason, all non-public posts should be viewed as private and protected correspondence, and should not be revealed in any way to any other person without prior approval. Doing so will get you kicked out of insideiraq. Since insideiraq is "invite only", making a post that is "friends only" should give you a lot of privacy, as it will only be readable by those who are in the community itself. That said, if there is something that you are thinging of posting to this community that might really get you in trouble, please think twice about whether you really want to post it.
