Quran is the holy book of Muslims that contains the commandment of words of Allah. Quran provides... more Quran is the holy book of Muslims that contains the commandment of words of Allah. Quran provides instructions and guidance to humankind in achieving happiness in life in the world and the hereafter. As a holy book, Quran contains rich knowledge and scientific facts. However, humans have difficulty in understanding the Quran content. It is caused by the fact that the meaning of the searched message content depends on the interpretation. Ontology able to store the knowledge representation of Holy Quran. This paper studies recent ontology on Holy Quran research. We investigate the current trends and technology being applied. This investigation cover on several aspects, such as outcomes of previous studies, language which used on ontology development, coverage area of Quran ontology, datasets, tools to perform ontology development ontology population techniques, approaches used to integrate the knowledge of Quran and other resources into ontology, ontology testing techniques, and limitations on previous research. This review has identified four major issues involved in Quran ontology, i.e. availability of Quran ontology in various translation, ontology resources, automated process of Meronymy relationship extraction, and Instances Classification. The review of existing studies will allow future researchers to have a broad and useful background knowledge on primary and essential aspects of this research field.

This system consists of question analysis, document processing, and answer extraction module. Question Analysis module has task to translate query into a form that can be processed by document processing module. Document processing is a technique for identifying candidate documents, containing answer relevant to the user query. Furthermore, answer extraction module receives the set of passages from document processing module, then determine the best answers to user. Challenge to optimize Question Answering framework is to increase the performance of all modules in the framework. The performance of all modules that has not been optimized has led to the less accurate answer from question answering systems. Based on this issues, the objective of this study is to review the current state of question analysis, document processing, and answer extraction techniques. Result from this study reveals the potential research issues, namely morphology analysis, question classification, and term weighting algorithm for question classification

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of the Republic of Indonesia in catalog Cr... more Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of the Republic of Indonesia in catalog Crime Statistics in 2014, the number of crimes of theft of motor vehicles has increased since 2010 until 2013. Recorded in 2013 the number reached 42.508 cases of theft. In this study, we made a prototype application using Adaptive Gaussian Mixture Models algorithms and the Kalman Filter to detect the movement of the vehicle in order to prevent vehicle theft. Adaptive Gaussian Mixture Models were used for image segmentation foreground and background, while the Kalman Filter was used to track the vehicle. Stages in this study consisted of two phases, namely the manufacture of prototype and testing of prototype applications. Testing was done by observing the resource usage of memory (RAM) and the processor when the application was executed and the speed and degree of vehicle motion detection accuracy. The test results showed that the prototype application using Adaptive Gaussian Mixture Model and Kalman Filter had an accuracy rate of 90% and a high speed in detecting motion with the use of vehicles under 65000 KB RAM and processor work load below 27% on condition vehicles that have mutual occlusion.

Web service technology is able to integrate data from each presence database in the classroom, resulting in a monitoring report attendance lecturer, staff, and lab assistant, who previously have not been able to do by the presence of application systems. In addition, the web service is able to distribute the data required for the presence of the database to the database of academic presence in each classroom, as well as with the web service data backup process in the presence of presence of each database classrooms toward academic database can be done easily. Perhitungan honorarium dosen berdasarkan rekap kehadiran, yang dilakukan oleh Bagian Keuangan mengalami permasalahan. Bagian keuangan harus mengidentifikasi dosen yang memiliki kewajiban mengajar. Kemudian, melakukan pemotongan jumlah kehadiran berdasarkan beban sks pada dosen yang memiliki kewajiban mengajar. Tujuan penelitian ini memodelkan web service dengan konsep berorientasi objek untuk interoperabilitas data antara sistem informasi akademik dengan sistem informasi kepegawaian. Manfaat yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini, yaitu memberikan dukungan kerja untuk Bagian keuangan dalam mengidentikasi dosen yang memiliki kewajiban mengajar/tidak memiliki kewajiban mengajar yang memiliki efek terhadap perhitungan honorarium dosen. Tahapan penelitian dimulai dari analisis sistem yang meliputi requirement gathering, business process modelling, dan business process realization, hingga desain sistem yang meliputi class stereotype analysis, class diagram, dan deployment diagram. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah prototype aplikasi web service. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, yaitu telah dibuat 1 prototype layanan untuk interoperabilitas data antara sistem informasi akademik dengan sistem informasi kepegawaian.

Komputer adalah salah satu media untuk pencarian informasi. Dalam mengoperasikan komputer seseora... more Komputer adalah salah satu media untuk pencarian informasi. Dalam mengoperasikan komputer seseorang harus dapat menggerakkan pointer pada layar komputer dengan mouse. Hal ini menjadi sulit untuk dilakukan bagi penderita disabilitas gerak tangan. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk membuat aplikasi virtual mouse yang dapat digunakan sebagai media interaksi antara penyandang disabilitas dengan komputer. Proses penjejakan wajah untuk mengendalikan pointer menggunakan algoritma Haarcascade Classifier, sedangkan untuk operasi click event mouse menggunakan deteksi kedipan mata dengan algoritma Hough Transform. Penelitian dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap yaitu melakukan analisis kebutuhan fungsional, membuat desain aplikasi, implementasi, dan pengujian aplikasi. Pengujian dilakukan terhadap kecepatan aplikasi dalam mendeteksi wajah berdasarkan sudut kemiringan wajah tertentu. Selain itu, pengujian dilakukan pula terhadap kecepatan aplikasi dalam mendeteksi iris mata berdasarkan nilai threshold tertentu. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian aplikasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai pergeseran memiliki toleransi 10 hingga 25 derajat untuk pendeteksian wajah, sedangkan nilai threshold yang baik untuk pendeteksian iris mata berkisar antara 90 sampai dengan 100.

lokasi tempat-tempat penting di suatu kota. Setiap orang yang mengunjungi kota baru dalam perjalanannya pasti membutuhkan informasi mengenai tempat-tempat penting yang ada di kota tersebut. Dalam pengaksesan informasi mengenai lokasi tempat penting pada suatu kota, biasanya dapat diperoleh dari berbagai sumber, seperti situs kota yang bersangkutan, surat kabar, peta, bahkan bertanya langsung kepada penduduk dari kota tersebut. Hambatan akan muncul apabila sumber-sumber informasi tersebut tidak tersedia seperti situs yang sudah terbengkalai, peta yang tidak diperbaharui, dan tidak bertemu dengan orang yang mengetahui lokasi-lokasi tempat penting di kota tersebut. Dengan hambatan-hambatan yang ada maka dibutuhkan suatu aplikasi yang dapat memberikan informasi mengenai lokasi-lokasi
penting pada suatu kota. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada, maka dibuatlah aplikasi PPF (Purwokerto Place Finder) berdasarakan data-data yang ada mengenai lokasi penting di kota Purwokerto dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Java for Android. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi Purwokerto Place Finder yang dapat menampilkan lokasi tempat yang dicari dalam bentuk peta, melakukan panggilan telepon ke nomor telepon lokasi yang bersangkutan, mengirimkan email kepada alamat email lokasi yang dicari, melihat situs lokasi yang dicari. Adapun tujuan dari aplikasi PPF ini untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi lokasi-lokasi penting di kota Purwokerto yang dapat dipasang pada smartphone bersistem operasi android yang dapat mendukung mobilitas para penggunanya.

Banyumas is a tourist destination that offers a variety of interesting attractions to visit, which include natural attractions, arts and culture, as well as culinary tourism. Business growth in the culinary and hospitality sectors in Banyumas region since 2011 experienced a significant increase in terms of quantity. Two of the business sectors are a potential contributing factor for the tourism sector in Banyumas. This study attempts to introduce and market the potential for tourism, arts and culture, as well as the culinary experience in Banyumas, through WCF which is a middleware application development that can be used by client applications to provide
information about the potential of tourism, arts and culture of Banyumas. A multi-step study was conducted starting with data collection, analysis of functional requirements, system design, implementation, and testing of WCF applications. The WCF application consists of several services, namely download service
information lists, attractions, arts, cultural and culinary information, lodging information, and downloading the tourism image data from the server. Based on the test results of the service, it can be concluded that the service functions properly and is able to distribute information to the client.

lokasi tempat-tempat penting di suatu kota. Setiap orang yang mengunjungi kota baru dalam perjalanannya pasti membutuhkan informasi mengenai tempat-tempat penting yang ada di kota tersebut. Dalam pengaksesan informasi mengenai lokasi tempat penting pada suatu kota, biasanya dapat diperoleh dari berbagai sumber, seperti situs kota yang bersangkutan, surat kabar, peta, bahkan bertanya langsung kepada penduduk dari kota tersebut. Hambatan akan muncul apabila sumber-sumber informasi tersebut tidak tersedia seperti situs yang sudah terbengkalai, peta yang tidak diperbaharui, dan tidak bertemu dengan orang yang mengetahui lokasi-lokasi tempat penting di kota tersebut. Dengan hambatan-hambatan yang ada maka dibutuhkan suatu aplikasi yang dapat memberikan informasi mengenai lokasi-lokasi
penting pada suatu kota. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada, maka dibuatlah aplikasi PPF (Purwokerto Place Finder) berdasarakan data-data yang ada mengenai lokasi penting di kota Purwokerto dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Java for Android. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi Purwokerto Place Finder yang dapat menampilkan lokasi tempat yang dicari dalam bentuk peta, melakukan panggilan telepon ke nomor telepon lokasi yang bersangkutan, mengirimkan email kepada alamat email lokasi yang dicari, melihat situs lokasi yang dicari. Adapun tujuan dari aplikasi PPF ini untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi lokasi-lokasi penting di kota Purwokerto yang dapat dipasang pada smartphone bersistem operasi android yang dapat mendukung mobilitas para penggunanya.

Banyumas is a tourist destination that offers a variety of interesting attractions to visit, which include natural attractions, arts and culture, as well as culinary tourism. Business growth in the culinary and hospitality sectors in Banyumas region since 2011 experienced a significant increase in terms of quantity. Two of the business sectors are a potential contributing factor for the tourism sector in Banyumas. This study attempts to introduce and market the potential for tourism, arts and culture, as well as the culinary experience in Banyumas, through WCF which is a middleware application development that can be used by client applications to provide
information about the potential of tourism, arts and culture of Banyumas. A multi-step study was conducted starting with data collection, analysis of functional requirements, system design, implementation, and testing of WCF applications. The WCF application consists of several services, namely download service
information lists, attractions, arts, cultural and culinary information, lodging information, and downloading the tourism image data from the server. Based on the test results of the service, it can be concluded that the service functions properly and is able to distribute information to the client.
