Get too much stuff over the holidays? Ready to ditch yr packrat ways? Cower in fear at the sight of all the piles? Sick of spending hours a day searching for your keys? Wondering how yr kids can be expected to keep their spaces clean when you live in filth? Etc?

Time to get rid of all the crap! This community is expressly for the declutterer in you... and you... and you. We're here to encourage, we're here to listen, we're here to be vented on. Cussing is OK in this community! Please cuss! It clears yr head and helps you break things down. Post pictures! It helps to see that other people have the same issues as you. We're here to help each other, not get all Martha on everyone (though she certainly had flair).

Discussions may veer into things like downsizing, quality over quantity, time management, household appliances, and the like. However, for the most part, this community is all about the decluttering itself -- how it's done, what has worked, baby steps, giant steps, etc etc etc. Long discussions regarding the decluttering philosophy can be taken to _sustenance_ -- that place needs a kick in the ass anyway.

Under no circumstances is spamming allowed. Please do not post ads for your castoffs here. The posts will be deleted and the offender will be banned. Not to be a hardass or anything, but that kind of stuff is what discourages people from posting here. Thanks.
