For this purpose wind velocity data are taken for various locations in Bangladesh. From the data analysis, it is seen that the maximum wind potentiality is existing in Chittagong from the aspect of wind velocity.

The thermal diffusivity of these glasses is found to lie in the range 0.020 to 0.048 cm 2 /s, which is consistent with the memory type of electrical switching exhibited by these samples. Further, it is found that α shows an initial increase with Tl addition, followed by a decrease. The observed composition dependence of thermal diffusivity has been understood on the basis that the thallium atoms are incorporated as a covalent species for lower values of x, increasing the network rigidity; however, they enter as ionic species for higher x values, fragmenting the network. The initial increase in α is due to the increasing network rigidity and the subsequent decrease is because of the fragmentation of the network. Also, there is a strong correlation between the composition dependence of switching voltages observed earlier and the variation with composition of electrical resistivity and thermal diffusivity of Ge 17 Te 83 − x Tl x glasses obtained in the present study.

The correlations, the simulated global solar radiation on tilted surface and the simulated diffuse solar radiation on a horizontal surface for each location are discussed elaborately. The solar radiation values obtained were compared with the measured values. The results of the global solar radiation show that the areas of greatest solar potential are Rajshahi > Dhaka > Sylhet > Chittagong > Khulna > Barishal and the months of the year with the highest tilted solar radiation are November, December, January and February.

I-V characteristics and repeatability of electrical switching were investigated for all the glasses in order to find out their suitability for phase change memory applications. A comparison has been given with Ge 2 Sb 2 Te 5 the most commonly used material for phase change memory application. The entire series of glasses exhibited memory type of electrical switching but only the composition Ge 17 Te 81 Tl 2 was able to withstand SET-RESET pulses for more than 10 cycles. The other samples show repeatability for only a few cycles with the degradation of threshold voltage.

To minimize the cost, an effective and advanced treatment process has been setup at Mascom Composite Textile Ltd and Dalas Fashion Ltd. at Gazipur, Dhaka. The treatment process consists of a combined process (anaerobic and bio-filtration process) which is mentioned as High Rate Biological Treatment (HRBT) process. This biological treatment process is successfully operating without chemical process. The raw textile waste-water is highly polluted with high level of alkalinity in nature. The pollution parameters were removed successfully with standard quality by using the HRBT process. The ETP treatment capacity was 50,000 Liter/hour. Case study on chemical ETP process has revealed that taka 8.984 million is required for chemical ETP whereas taka 1.784 million for HRBT ETP process. Thus HRBT ETP process has been proved to be highly economical than the Chemical ETP process.

The recent human development index revealed that Bangladesh having better position rationally to Indian's HDI index e.g. GNP per capita, life expectancy rate, infant mortality, child death rate, adult literacy rate, higher education ratio. The study focuses on Santal, a tribal community in Bangladesh those have no existence in measuring HDI. The study attempts to include the tribes like Santal, Bede (Water Gisppy) and few others nagging communities data into the considerable evaluation process of HDI. The findings of the study revealed that in case of due consideration of those deprive communities into the HDI index, the index will decline.

From the analysis, it is observed that around 4.60% power improvement is occurred at the temperature level of 34°C when tilt/azimuth angle is varied from 1°/0° to 21°/0° whether it is 3.96% for the tilt/azimuth angle change of 90°/0° to 21°/0°.

Again the tilt angle variation effect is analyzed with temperature variation to determine the power improvement level of PV system. From the analysis, it is seen that around 5.07% power can be improved at the temperature level of 30°C, if the tilt angle is varied from 90° to 21° keeping azimuth angle fixed at 0° considering Bangladesh climate.

There are a number of key cultural elements that international marketers need to take into consideration when designing products, developing promotions and implementing distribution systems in foreign markets. These elements include values, beliefs, thought processes, symbols, traditions, religion and language. In international markets this will involve taking into consideration a number of different factors including consumer's cultural backgrounds, religion, buying habits and levels of personal disposable income.

From the analysis, it is seen that around 42.19% higher wind velocity is obtained in Cox's bazaar than the wind velocity of Dhaka location for 50 m height.

Electrical switching and alternating differential scanning calorimetric (ADSC) studies have been carried out to observe the effect of Thallium addition on thermal and electrical properties of these glasses. It was found that the glasses show the memory type of switching and single glass transition temperature. The switching voltage V th and glass transition temperature T g decreases with increasing thallium concentration largely in the composition range 0≤x≤6 and much slower for x≥7.
