Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis Community

The Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis Community

Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis- A chronic, inflammatory disease that may cause joint or connective tissue damage. The onset occurs before age 16.

Do you have JRA? Know someone who does? A friend or family member perhaps? Are you simply curious about what JRA is? Or how you know if you have it or not? This is the community for you. Here people can share personal stories about their JRA, about their friends or family with JRA, complain, comfort, and just about anything else you can think of. Find and communicate with other people just like you who must deal with JRA everyday of their life. You're not alone.

I do ask that members follow a few ground rules: *I ask that everyone stay on topic in the community. *Due to the fact that JRA is a childhood disease and we may have a young audience participating I ask that we also avoid any strong language. *For the same reason among others, I also ask that I ask that we please avoid all topics concerning any illegal substances or illegal activities. *Please contact the maintainer before advertising any other communities unless they are directly related to JRA in some way. *And I ask that we all show general respect and common courtesy toward each other.

Anyone who fails to follow the above rules will be removed from the community.

This community is open to anyone, and everyone who is willing to follow the rules are welcome.

We want to get to know you! Here's some questions so that we can get to know new members, re-introduce older members, and just get to know each other better all around. :) Just fill out the questions and post your answers in a new entry to the community (behind an LJ cut if possible), that way we can all see them and share responses to them!
