We're focused on writers' who want to improve, support/help, and share their knowledge of writing!
This community is based on the desire for authors - though aimed mostly at fan fiction, original stories are also welcome! - to have a place to improve their skills by sharing in the experiences of others.
We are here to support the community of writers and to learn from each other. As writers it is important for us to encourage and learn about our trade. The community will be a place for constructive criticism, reviewing others works, advice on writing, hints and tips, and so forth.
Users/Mods will also be able to issue challenges for certain genre and fan pairings, and the challenges will be very open depending who is doing the issuing.
We will also provide several bits of information for those of the fan fiction community - information on disclaimers and terms (abbreviations) being first and foremost.
For both Original Stories and Fan Fiction we will supply a list of information on; plagiarism, genre, ratings, and such! We will also provide basic character sheets (for making characters or expanding upon them), plot outline guides, chapter outline guides, and things along those lines.
Our goal is to also provide a place where others can find and work with beta-readers! The service of a beta-reader is a great addition to any fan fiction because what you miss, they catch, and it makes for a much better story in presentation when posted! Having a beta-reader is also a very nice addition as an original story author, though there are always pros and cons, of course.
It is our hope that whoever joins this community will be able to enjoy themselves, share, learn, and take away a good deal of knowledge from other writers. We strive to improve and make the writing community - worldwide - a better place for everyone!
