Jessica Stam was discovered in September 2001 in a Tim Hortons on the way back from Canada's Wonderland. Michèle Miller, owner of International Model Management in Barrie, Ontario, spotted her while getting a coffee.
The 5'10 blue eyed girl then won the Los Angeles Model Look Search in 2002. Her career started after that.
Jessica has appeared in advertisements for Marc Jacobs, Atsuro Tayama, Cerruti Jeans, Valentino, Miu Miu and most recently, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Holt Renfrew and Banila B.
She was on the cover of Vogue Italia 3 times in 2003 and recently, on the cover of Canada's Fashion Magazine.
