Jews living in Vienna during the Nazi occupation (1938-1945)
BACKGROUND
This data set includes a listing of Jews living in Vienna during the Nazi occupation from 1938-1945. This is not a complete list of all Jews, but rather a list compiled in 1945, a copy of which is held by the Israel National Library's Central Archives of the History of the Jewish People in Jerusalem, file AU-99.
DATABASE
This database consists of 1,365 Jews living in Vienna under Nazi occupation.
The fields in the database are:
- Surname
- Given Name
- Date of Birth
- Place of Birth
- Street Address
- District Number
- Comments

The original source of the material can be found in the Israel National Library's Central Archives of the History of the Jewish People in Jerusalem, file AU-99. Yehuda Rubin, a JewishGen volunteer, did the data entry to create the database.
