| about me Howdy. I'm Kamara. Also known as Kama, Kam. I'm also known as Fae. I'm a gamer, and the tag "girl gamer" bothers me. I post about my day, my life, my work, my fandoms, my interests. Gaming is a big part of my life in many forms. I grew up with a Nintendo controller in my hand (NES, SNES, N64, GC, Wii) and I could type my name on a BBC Micro computer before I could write it on paper. I think the first thing I could type was * TAPE CHAIN "" (the text required to make BBC games play). Current gaming past-times include Guild Wars, World of Warcraft, Nintendogs, Mass Effect 1 + 2, Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age 2, Portal 2 and Okami. I like movies. I tend to go for action with a dash of adventure and comedy then sprinkled with the odd musical. I have a strong favouring of West Side Story for a reason I just don't know. My TV tastes are embarrassing at best and I'm more likely to watch the 10pm-midnight shows on the Disney Channel rather than some reality tv show. Oh, and I have a guilty pleasure in the form of High School Musical, I'm In The Band and Wizards of Waverly Place. In non-tween TV I watch things like Lost, Nikita, No Ordinary Family, The Big Bang Theory, Top Gear, Hawaii 5-O, Eastenders (spot the odd one out!) and Burn Notice. I have very shameful music tastes. I don't really care. |  |
about my journal I'm emo, I'm peppy. I spam a lot. I go days without posting. Yes, my journal is mostly friends only. I don't have any deep and dark secrets to hide. And I don't do it because it's "fashionable" or "trendy" or anything. I do it because I'm too lazy to change the min-security on my journal. Friend me, don't friend me, comment with a random phrase, whatever. I check my friends of list obsessively. I'm shy to add back a lot of the time though. I can go from being a postwhore to not posting for a week or so. I spam when I'm away from IRC or people, and I go quiet when I'm super busy. I post long things and wide things under a and you should too. I post about my day, I post about how I'm feeling, I post crappy little fics that no-one reads purely because it gives me something to do. I post random cryptic crap, and no, you don't get to know what they're about. I write a lot about the current media I'm interested in, but I don't really do fandom. I'm clingy and I hate most of humanity. When I grow up I want to own a house that has a clocktower. |
