No. My RL name is Katie and for a few years my main online alias was "Scarlet." This just combines the two. I was aware of the GWTW reference and thought it was cute but that's not why I chose it.
Can I friend you?
Sure. Just understand that I only add people to my friends list if I actually know them reasonably well and/or am interested in reading their journals. If I don't add you back, it doesn't mean I hate you, it just means I either don't know you that well or don't have time to keep up with yet another journal. (If I hate you you'll simply wake up with a rabid wolverine attached to your ankle!) ;D
I do make many of my entries viewable only to those on my friends list, simply because I'm more comfortable that way. Don't worry, you're not missing out on any deep, dark secrets by not seeing those entries. They're mostly the angsty, whiny ones, anyway. ;) Generally speaking, personal RL stuff is friends-only and any art-related, fandom-related or website update posts will be public.
