MultiAgent Systems (MAS) is a subfield of Artificial Intelligence which is designed by communica... more MultiAgent Systems (MAS) is a subfield of Artificial Intelligence which is designed by communicating two or more agent in an environment. In this paper, MAS which have been applied for industrial problems for ten years successfully, its sub fields and search algorithms are introduced. Literature review about application of MAS is explained. A model for solving cargo transportation problem with MAS is developed. For this purpose, randomly forming cargo transportation problems have been modeled with MAS. Finally, it is seen that MAS gives an optimum solutions in a short computation times.

In recent years, much attention is given to heuristic and search techniques. Genetic algorithms (GAs) are also known as efficient heuristic and search techniques. This paper proposes an efficient genetic algorithm for hybrid flow shop scheduling problems. The proposed algorithm is tested by Carlier and Neron's (2000) benchmark problem from the literature. The computational results indicate that the proposed efficient genetic algorithm approach is effective in terms of reduced total completion time or makespan (C max) for HFS problems.

Bu çalışmada, turizm sektöründe teknolojik gelişmelerin etkileri incelenmiştir. Turizm sektöründe gerçekleştirilebilecek teknolojik uygulamalara ışık tutulabilmesi amacıyla, Endüstri 4.0'ı temel alan çeşitli anahtar kelimelerle, ilgili konaklama sektöründe son 20 yılda yapılan araştırmalar incelenmiştir. Araştırmaların, büyük veri, sanal gerçeklik, arttırılmış gerçeklik, turist yönlendirme sistemleri, nesnelerin interneti, sosyal medya ile web sayfalarının analizi ve mobil uygulamalar ile ilgili konularda olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışmalarda kullanılan verilerin, genel olarak web sayfalarından veya turistlerin değerlendirmelerinden elde edildiği görülmüştür. Energy resources are classified as renewable and non-renewable in general. Non renewable energy r... more Energy resources are classified as renewable and non-renewable in general. Non renewable energy resources have been exhausted gradually. Renewable energy resources such as wind power, hydropower, geothermal power, solar power and photovoltaic power have importance more than ever before. But, researchers are looking for selections of renewable electricity generation as it is a technological problem. This problem is a multi-criteria decision making problem. One of the solution methods for this problem is a combination of the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and the grey relational analysis (GRA). Hierarchical GRA method is based on grey system theory. In this study, a new approach to the selection of renewable electricity generation is prepared using multi-criteria decision making method. The hierarchical GRA frame work uses three criteria and sub-criteria from which it possible to evaluate to different renewable electricity generation technologies. This application is a novel approach for the selection of renewable electricity generation technologies.

Tüketilip bir kenara atılan kaynaklar tekrar kullanılamamakta ve her geçen gün büyüyen kirlilik problemlerine sebep olmaktadırlar. Dünyamızı etkileyen bu büyük problem karşısında gelişmiş ülkeler, çevre koruma dernekleri ve üniversitelerin de katkılarıyla, doğal kaynakların tüketilmesi ve tüketim sonunda oluşan atık sorunlarına çözüm bulabilmek için yeniden üretim tekniklerini geliştirmişlerdir. Bu çalışmada, alternatif bir üretim şekli olan yeniden üretim incelenmiştir. Yeniden üretimin kullanım alanları araştırılmış, yeniden üretimde karşılaşılan sorunlara değinilmiş ve geliştirilen çözümler incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, yeniden üretimin faydaları ve ülke ekonomileri üzerindeki etkileri irdelenmiştir.

The aim is to collect the expert’s judgments. Physicians serve patients in the physician selection problem. It is difficult to measure the service’s quality due to the variability in patients’ preferences. The patients physician preference criteria is differing and uncertainties. In fixed job scheduling problems, the objective is to select a set of jobs for processing so as to maximize the total weight. This problem is known to be NP-hard. The Fixed job scheduling problem has two variants based on objective functions (Eliiyi, Azizoğlu, 2006). The first variant is the Operational Fixed Job Scheduling (OFS), where each job j has a weight wj that represents its value or relative importance, and the concern is maximizing the total weight of the processed jobs with a given number of processors. Hybrid flow shop (HFS) scheduling problem is combining of the flow shop and parallel machine sche... more Hybrid flow shop (HFS) scheduling problem is combining of the flow shop and parallel machine scheduling problem. Hybrid flow shop with multiprocessor task (HFSMT) scheduling problem is a special structure of the hybrid flow shop scheduling problem. The HFSMT scheduling is a well-known NP-hard problem. In this study, a new memetic algorithm which combined the global and local search methods is proposed to solve the HFSMT scheduling problems. The developed new memetic global and local search (MGLS) algorithm consists of four operators. These are natural selection, crossover, mutation and local search methods. A preliminary test is performed to set the best values of these developed new MGLS algorithm operators for solving HFSMT scheduling problem. The best values of the MGLS algorithm operators are determined by a full factorial experimental design. The proposed new MGLS algorithm is applied the 240 HFSMT scheduling instances from the literature. The performance of the generated new MGLS algorithm is compared with the genetic algorithm (GA), parallel greedy algorithm (PGA) and efficient genetic algorithm (EGA) which are used in the previous studies to solve the same set of HFSMT scheduling benchmark instances from the literature. The results show that the proposed new MGLS algorithm provides better makespan than the other algorithms for HFSMT scheduling instances. The developed new MGLS algorithm could be applicable to practical production environment.

In this study, it is done that the evaluation of neurology clinics of two hospitals under the Min... more In this study, it is done that the evaluation of neurology clinics of two hospitals under the Ministry of Health and their physicians, considering patient preferences. While effective service policies and procedures of hospitals increase customer satisfaction, the performance of physicians ensures preferability. Therefore, measuring satisfaction and performance is crucial for management. However, measurement includes many challenges in connection with many factors and uncertainty on these factors. Thus, neutrosophic multi-criteria decision-making methods have been particularly chosen to overcome these challenges in this study. The related literature on the subject shows that easy access, cleaning and comfort, technological infrastructure, and equipment, total service time, physicians' communication skills, recognition of physicians, treatment effectiveness, treatment rate, academic career are the main criteria. The values of weights for these criteria and the physicians ranking based on the values of those weights were found by using the Neutrosophic Analytical Hierarchy Process (N-AHP). It has been validated that the ranking is fitting to patient preferences in the Central Physicians Appointment System. As a result, the recommended method can be effectively used in selecting physicians.

Hybrid flow shop with multiprocessor task (HFSMT) scheduling problem is a special structure of the hybrid flow shop scheduling problem. The HFSMT scheduling is a well-known NP-hard problem. In this study, a new memetic algorithm which combined the global and local search methods is proposed to solve the HFSMT scheduling problems. The developed new memetic global and local search (MGLS) algorithm consists of four operators. These are natural selection, crossover, mutation and local search methods. A preliminary test is performed to set the best values of these developed new MGLS algorithm operators for solving HFSMT scheduling problem. The best values of the MGLS algorithm operators are determined by a full factorial experimental design. The proposed new MGLS algorithm is applied the 240 HFSMT scheduling instances from the literature. The performance of the generated new MGLS algorithm is compared with the genetic algorithm (GA), parallel greedy algorithm (PGA) and efficient genetic algorithm (EGA) which are used in the previous studies to solve the same set of HFSMT scheduling benchmark instances from the literature. The results show that the proposed new MGLS algorithm provides better makespan than the other algorithms for HFSMT scheduling instances. The developed new MGLS algorithm could be applicable to practical production environment.

In this study, it is done that the evaluation of neurology clinics of two hospitals under the Min... more In this study, it is done that the evaluation of neurology clinics of two hospitals under the Ministry of Health and their physicians, considering patient preferences. While effective service policies and procedures of hospitals increase customer satisfaction, the performance of physicians ensures preferability. Therefore, measuring satisfaction and performance is crucial for management. However, measurement includes many challenges in connection with many factors and uncertainty on these factors. Thus, neutrosophic multi-criteria decision-making methods have been particularly chosen to overcome these challenges in this study. The related literature on the subject shows that easy access, cleaning and comfort, technological infrastructure, and equipment, total service time, physicians' communication skills, recognition of physicians, treatment effectiveness, treatment rate, academic career are the main criteria. The values of weights for these criteria and the physicians ranking based on the values of those weights were found by using the Neutrosophic Analytical Hierarchy Process (N-AHP). It has been validated that the ranking is fitting to patient preferences in the Central Physicians Appointment System. As a result, the recommended method can be effectively used in selecting physicians.
