Welcome to Life In Oz, a community for posting any and all Oz fanfare. This includes fanfiction, fan art, icons, and whatever else you may want to post.
Posting Guidelines
I just want to get the following rules across to all potential members, and get them out of the way.
Please post only about Oz, and the fanfare therein. This means all fanfiction, icons, fan art, and anything else MUST be relevant to Oz. All irrelevant posts will be deleted.
If your post is over 200 words, please use a LJ cut. It makes everything easier, and people will not have to scroll to get to the rest of the community's content.
Graphics should also be placed behind a LJ cut. Teasers are fine, but the entire graphic, or entire set of graphics, should not be posted at once.
Do not post anything offensive to other community members. I do not mean to say that you are not allowed to post NC-17 stories, or what have you. (This is Oz, and NC-17 is unavoidable, not to mention fun). Just do not make inappropriate comments about anothers work, preferences, pairing, etc. All that I ask is that you be polite.
When posting NC-17 work, please give a proper warning BEFORE the LJ cut. It is the proper thing to do.
Give a warning before posting something pertaining to spoilers from any particular season. Somthing like this will be sufficient:
Spoilers: (Insert Season Here)
This rule is just to make sure that everyone knows what season they are reading/viewing about, and that no one has the fun spoiled for them. Spoiler free comments would be lovely, as well. By the way, if you are reading this, please put in your introduction post the following:
Spoilers: I'm an Oz fan.
It does not mean much if you do not. I would just like to know who actually cares enough to read the rules.
Have fun with the community. I know that the guidelines are quite long, but I am just trying to make sure that the community is nothing if not stable. I want everyone to be able to get quality oz fanfare, without having to filter through a bunch of garbage. Thank you for reading, and I await your first post in the community!
