The article looks into the brief history of public health programs on hepatic health issues in India & the emergence of fatty liver as an issue. It moves on to the current situation on fatty liver in India & the role of Homoeopathy to deal with these disorders therapeutically as a component of Ministry of AYUSH. The article suggests the integration of medical pluralism in hepatic health through inclusion of Homoeopathy in the gamete of HH health. As each & every drug in Homoeopathy is only proved on human beings, all the drugs have a mental component as it is only human beings who can express their physical & mental symptoms during proving of the drugs as per the guidelines set by the Homoeopathic Research Councils (HRC) of each nation. In India, Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, an autonomous body under the ministry of AYUSH lays out such guidelines. The article gains more relevance during the current COVID 19 pandemic which has precipitated the stress levels of population since March 2020 and most of them are more prone to liver disorders during their life stage.

Further, the focus is on the ways in which the ASHAs find these materials beneficial while using the materials for dissemination of newborn care messages. Objective: The objective of the current study is to explore the crucial variables of the benefits of the use of IEC materials as per the ASHAs especially on services related to newborn care. Methods: Four districts of Uttar Pradesh were selected purposively for the study and the data collection was conducted in the respective districts with the help of a pre-tested structured interview schedule with both close-ended and open-ended questions. In-depth interviews were conducted amongst the ASHAs and a total 250 respondents had participated in the study. Results: Monthly meeting platforms at the government facilities helped the ASHAs to be skillful to use the IEC materials. About 75% of ASHAs thought that the materials helped in giving the complete message. Very few ASHAs used the materials to reply to any health-related query during home visits. Less than 25% of ASHAs thought that the materials added to the credibility of the message and helped them to explain to illiterate households. Conclusion: IEC materials help them to recollect contents & give the complete message on newborn care. They could answer queries of community, felt that the materials added credibility to the message & they could address illiterate masses.

It concludes with the cost effectiveness & therapeutic effectiveness of the homoeopathic system of medicine & suggests its involvement on a large scale in the nation. It only reinforces the age old concept of managing these chronic conditions through diet, regimen, exercise & homoeopathy. The suggestion of large scale use of homoeopathy is based on the premise of the modalities of essential medicines. The National List of Essential Medicines (NLEM) envisages that a medicine can be called essential only if it is cost effective, clinically effective & has no side effects. Homoeopathy fits into this triad fully. The article also suggests a treatment protocol based on the typical clinical features of PE & aspires that the public benefits from the protocol at large.

Since then, tracking of all deliveries and all the newborns are an integral part of the work of ASHAs in all the primary health care programs operated by the NHM in UP. Evaluation studies on the performance of ASHAs was done since 2011 as by then ASHAs had actually worked in the field for a minimum period of 5 years. It is to be noted that National Rural Health Mission was rolled out in April 2005 but it took about one to two years for the states to hire ASHAs and put things in place right from the state to the village level. In this article, a comprehensive feedback is elicited from the mothers of Scheduled Caste (SC) community from the last visit of ASHAs to their homes to visits during pregnancy & newborn care in Saharanpur district of UP. The current study explores some of the crucial variables through five case studies on the performance of ASHAs through their message delivery & visits during natal, newborn care of mothers of Scheduled Caste (SC) community. The article also includes the feedback of the SC community mothers on the work & approach of ASHAs. That's how the perception of the Recently Delivered Women of SC community in the state of UP is included in this article. The mothers of SC community responded about the performance based upon their experience in visits & messaging by ASHAs on Janani Surakhya Yojana (JSY), New Born Care (NBC) & Routine Immunization (RI) as these were the frontline programs for the states. The responses of these mothers or Recently Delivered Women (RDW) (as named for the current study) had a 3 to 6 months old child during the time of survey. They were selected as respondents as they were from SC community & were in a position to recollect the health care events of their children. The relevance of the study assumes significance as data on the details of visits, care and

Although Dr. Jacob Moleschott (1832-1893) and Dr. Justus Von Liebig (1803-1873) were the motivators to lay the fundamentals of biochemistry, the motivation could lead to the introduction of Biochemic system of medicine into homoeopathic therapeutics by Dr. Wilhelm Heinrich Schussler (1821-1898) after 24 years of Dr. Paterson’s efforts i.e. in 1973. Dr. Schussler introduced more and more biodynamic explanations for therapeutics of mineral salts. The Biochemic system of medicine or the inorganic cell salt therapy is the oldest form of nutrace...

He not only presented the clinical aspects of the ‘bowel nosodes’ but also the biochemical analysis of each of the nosodes.
