✽ *Luzmelt Bio* ✽Luzmelt is a newly formed Visual Kei band hailing from Tokyo, Japan. The band's concept is the representation of the darkness & the light sought after by people who have lost their hearts. This new band is under the new label Starwave Records, formed by Kiwamu [Ex-BLOOD, GPKISM]. The band is the brainchild of frontman, Yuhma, who has been working on the music & concepts of the band for the past half decade. The name comes from the Spanish word for light "luz" & the English word "melt." Activity started 8/20/2009 (though they had made appearances at lives before their official revealing) holding their first sponsored oneman live in commemoration of their formation, [Supernova explosion], 2/10/2010. They released their first two mini-albums "swallowed scenery" 2/24/2010 & "Luz-destination" 3/24/2010. Then traveled overseas for their first USA live April 9-11, 2010 at Tekkoshocon in Pittsburgh, PA. On 5/5/2010 Luzmelt graduated from Starwave Records moving to their own label ADDICT-STYLE, still under the Darkest Labyrinth. Following this move with their first maxi single release 5/26/2010 "sacrifice" along with PV for "sacrifice". On 5/30/2010, marked the end of the Original line up for Luzmelt, Bassist Zig & Drummer Miu taking their leave due to difference in musical styles & direction. Then 6/4/2010 U-YA stepped in as support drummer & there were a few different support bassists. In order from Haren(ex.Depain), Tomoki(ex.Vetelguis), & Nobu(ex-Gilltia). 8/15/2010 Nov(Nobu) became their new official bassist. During the summer of 2010 Luzmelt traveled to Europe for "Jap-Ro 2010 - The European J-Rock Festival". Then 8/17/2010 though Asuka departed from the band due to family circumstances, leaving spots open for support guitarist. U-YA finishing his support sometime in September, a new support drummer by the name of Itsuki took his place. Then it was announced that there would be a 3 consecutive releases, "Guilty Garden" - 10/20/2010, "Imitation Galaxy" - 11/17/2010, "Oración" - 12/22/2010. Fall Luzmelt played in Canada at "Dot.com" November, 13-14th, 2010. As for support guitarist there was, Gin(ex.Varb), Iori(ex.Dollis Marry)[one show 12/16/2010], & Keito(ex.Spun). On 2/12/2011 Luzmelt decided to take a month in a half pause to have a "preparation period", starting back activities 3/29/2011. During the pause of activity Luzmelt announced on March 18th they ended their contract with ADDICT-STYLE/Starwave Records. April 30th was the final live for support members Keito & Itsuki. Then without much of an announcement 5/6/2011, 4MAN LIVE 『＊-Kaleidoscope-』 at BlackHole their new official guitarist Reyto debuted as well as new support drummer Nayuki(ex-Artista&ex-Gilltia)until 6/29 Nayuki's final support live. July 1st their new support drummer debuted Yugi.
