If you have zero interest in the game, best step right along, nothing to see here, here be dragonflights, etc.Editor Devin has noted that we may want to define the following for newbies:-DPS: Damage Per Second; the role in the party that kills things to death.-AOE: Area Of Effect; a spell or ability that damages more than one target at a time-PVE: Player Vs. Environment; the "normal" game, where you cannot arbitrarily be picked off by a player of the opposing faction unless you designate yourself for PvP (Player Vs. Player) or are in a PvP-specific zone.-spec: Specialty; designating if your gear and abilities are for tanking (taking damage for the group); healing (what it says on the tin) or DPS (see above).In our excitement we were also remiss in not actually naming "the book" we so very highly recommended. This is Jaina Proudmoore: Tides Of War by Christie Golden. It is absolutely fantastic, highly recommended, and kind of mandatory reading if you wanted to know exactly WTF was going on in the Theramore's Fall scenario.STUFF WHAT WAS NOT WARCRAFT-RELATED: Tessa was at Canterlot Gardens last month and had the best time ever. She met Tara Strong (Twilight Sparkle) and Andrea Libman (Pinkie Pie) and then died of squee. She got better.Tessa has also been doing a Let's Play of Pony Fantasy 6, a Final Fantasy VI mod, here at 1P Start! Also other games! [**Tags**|donations]Dear listeners:It saddens us to inform you that one of us has recently experienced a terrible tragedy. Brandi, a.k.a. sirius20_81, recently gave birth to a baby girl named Leelu Shea. Tragically, Leelu died less than an hour after she was born due to complications in her heart. We at Made Of Fail consider our listeners our extended family, and we try very hard to take care of our own. So we're doing a donation drive to help Brandi and her family. We can't turn back time and make everything better, but what we can do is try to make day-to-day things a little easier while she and her family take the time to grieve. We hope this will help take care of things like hospital and medical bills, funeral arrangements for Leelu, and any other care the family needs.If you cannot donate money, please repost this wherever you can, and leave a comment expressing your sympathies and/or prayers. You are in our thoughts, Brandi, and we hope this helps even the tiniest bit.
