Location: Sweden
Favourite Mango: Shapewise, Nam Dok Mai. It looks the most otherworldly of all the mangoes I have seen so far.
Mango Obsession Details: Eating fruits (of course), and growing own mango plants!
I'd love to have an own huge mango orchard, but the climate up north here in Scandinavia is not really the best suited when it comes to outdoor mango plantations.. so I'll just have to make do with keeping my mango plants indoors. And I am hoping to be able to get my paws on so called condo mangos soooon!
You can find images of my mango plant, one that I got from a seed from a mango bought in a local store here. If I recall correctly, that mango was originally from Peru.
Has anyone else tried growing mango plants from a seed?
Did you get a fruit bearing tree, and if so did they taste good?
Or did you buy mango trees online, the condo kind, did the trees make it and bear fruit and all?
