The Fic-a-Thon Timeline
The Fic-a-Thon runs every other month. Most of the time it will be a standard fic-a-thon with you supplying the prompts and creating the stories as most fic-a-thons do. But occasionally we'll throw in a themed thon where it will be run specifically to a character or episode or even pairing.For those who don't know how a normal fic-a-thon runs, here's a breakdown.**The Steps:**1. We take prompts, you recommend a pairing and a word, or a pairing and quote or song lyric. You can even suggest crossovers. No pairing is too stupid or unwelcomed and there is no limit to how many prompts you can submit.2. We will then post the lists of collected prompts, sorted, hopefully, in manageable sections so you can find something of interest to you.3. You work on your stories that are connected to any of the prompts listed, there is no limit on how many entries you can make and all ratings are accepted. You don't have to check if someone has used the prompt because that would just be complicated so just work with whichever prompt you want, even your own if you like.5. You post your entries to your personal journal (and a link in the community) or directly to the community (please don't post directly to other places or they might get missed off the round-up - thought you can post the link to your heart's content). There is no word limit, but if you're posting long stories, please use a cut.
