mission101 - Profile (original) (raw)

on 27 July 2005 (#7855462)

The Mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria: Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on your part).

Cross them off as you do them, and add the dates. Include the date you started the list and the finishing date. (You can use this handy calculator to help figure out the finish date.)

A ton of 101 in 1001 lists for inspiration.

Whoever originally thought of the 101 things to do in 1001 days list is a genius! Such a brilliantly inspiring concept! Whether you've already made yourself a list or are now inspired to do so, post it here! Keep us updated on what you've managed to accomplish and check off!

Rules:

When you join, please post your 101 in 1001 list. Feel free to include a personal introduction, but this part isn't required. Either post a link to your 101 list if you've already posted it as a PUBLIC ENTRY in your personal journal or put the list behind an LJ-cut!!! 101 things makes for a VERY LONG list to scroll past if it shows up on a page full of friend's entries.

Keep us updated! If you make progress on your goals, let us know! It will make you feel proud of your accomplishments, and it will help inspire others to work toward their own goals.

Play nice!! People are allowed to have political/sexual/religious and other personal goals that you may disagree with. That's okay, they're someone else's goals, so don't take it personally.

Pictures are good when you're talking about your accomplishments, but please place any image larger than 400x400 pixels behind an LJ-cut!!!

There is no "not allowed" when it comes to your own list. If you feel that you've changed since you started the list, then it's your decision whether you should stick to the original list or update some of your goals. It's your list, and it's about personal growth, so do what is best for you.

Possible origins for the 101 in 1001 concept?

Thanks,

your mod uproar
