However, due to various causes some persons are not able to communicate in this manner e.g. deaf and dumb persons. These differently abled persons need assistance to fulfill their daily routi ne task. Today's technol ogy can be effecti vely utilized to come to their rescue. Most often differentl y abled persons are not treated as the part of the society. To provi de them an opportunity to be like a normal person, we have developed a hand gesture based prototype named " HANDTALK " .

[5] As now a days where internet has become a major demand, people are in a search for Wi-Fi hotspots for their activities. Li-Fi is a better alternative to Wi-Fi in wireless communication as it is [1] bidirectional, high speed and fully networked wireless communications similar to Wi-Fi. It is a subset of visible light communication(VLC) and can be a complement to RF communication , or a replacement in contexts of data broadcasting. This paper proposes a survey on Li-Fi Technology. Li-Fi has more capacity in terms of bandwidth in visible region therefore it does not interfere in other communications which uses radio frequency range, without taking its frequency bands. It has thousand times greater speed than Wi-Fi.Such technology has brought not only greener but safer and cheaper future of communication.

We have come up with a novel idea of a system that will convert the hand movements (Gestures) into the voice and display the message and allow the deaf and dumb to express them better. A sensor equipped glove needs to be worn on the hand and depending on the various gestures made by individual, the gesture will be interpreted to the corresponding voice and display message by the device. Further, that particular message can be transmitted as a voice or text to the doctor's phone as well as to the concerned person. For this we are using flex sensors, MEMS (Micro-Electro Mechanical System) accelerometer, microcontroller, speech IC, speakers, LCD display and GSM Module.
